INT. FUEL TANK - DAY
PITCH BLACK. A heavy, industrial engine rumble vibrates the
darkness.
A shaft of amber light cuts through the gloom, revealing a
vast ocean of golden diesel fuel.
WE ARE A SINGLE FUEL MOLECULE, floating in the liquid.
A violent underwater current catches us. A vortex forms. The
camera SURGES forward, sucked into a steel PICKUP TUBE.
INT. FUEL FILTER - CONTINUOUS
We spiral through a rapid, cyclonic vortex. Heavy water
droplets are flung outward against the glass walls,
separating from the fuel.
We reverse direction, forcing straight through a dense,
glowing orange wall of pleated paper filter mesh. Dirt and
debris vanish. Clean fluid emerges.
INT. FUEL PUMP / COMMON RAIL - CONTINUOUS
We blast into a dark chrome chamber. A mechanical piston
plunges down, violently compressing the fluid until it
vibrates with massive kinetic energy.
BOOM. We shoot into a long, pressurized steel COMMON RAIL
manifold at blistering, bullet-like speed.

WAREHOUSE DISPATCHER

There's a special cargo trailer

WAREHOUSE DISPATCHER

now I can face it with you.
Horseman becomes serious and troubled.
HORSEMAN
I need to show you something.

The Repossessed Herd
EXT. HIGHWAY TRUCK STOP DINER - CONTINUOUS
Horseman, Charlotte, and Swamp-dog exit the diner. They stop
when they see his truck. They stare at it in amazement.
The trailer has a large mural on it. It is the detailed
airbrushed painting of the four coloured horses in a
dramatic, explosive background.
HORSEMAN
What...?
SWAMP-DOG
That wasn't on your truck when you
pulled in.
CHARLOTTE
What's going on here?
They follow Horseman to the back of the trailer. He opens it.
They watch as the 4 coloured horses emerge from the darkness
within. Charlotte and Swamp-dog are in shock.
CHARLOTTE
Horseman?
HORSEMAN
I've been hired to take them.
CHARLOTTE
To where?
HORSEMAN
Some company in the city. They
wanted me to get this trailer and
take it to their distribution
facility. It was kind of a
repossession.
Charlotte slowly begins to reach forward with her hand. The
white horse's head emerges close to her. She is mesmerized as
she is about to touch its nose.
HORSEMAN
I wouldn't do that.
He begins to close the doors. Charlotte notices the green
horse in the shadowy back.
CHARLOTTE
That one in the back looks sick.
Horseman closes the trailer doors. They all look at each
other, wanting answers.

The Apocalypse Unleashed
INT. THE TRUCK STOP DINER - CONTINUOUS
Horseman, Charlotte, and Swamp-dog sit down in a booth.
Charlotte and Swamp-dog are shaking.
CHARLOTTE
Are you telling me those are the
horses? The four horses of the
apocalypse that come to destroy the
world?
Horseman nods. Charlotte feels a chill.
SWAMP-DOG
Where's the riders?
They hear a cough. A low voice speaks.
DINER CUSTOMER (O.S.)
Coffee, please.
Charlotte makes a frustrated face. She looks sternly at
Horseman and Swamp-dog.
CHARLOTTE
Don't say anything until I get
back.
She quickly leaves the table. Swamp-dog studies Horseman.
SWAMP-DOG
You seen something?
HORSEMAN
I just escaped hell. The demon
trucker was following right behind.
The girl. The one I keep seeing
after the accident. She was with
me. She gave her spirit as the toll
to return me to the highway. And
that brought me here.
SWAMP-DOG
A lot is going down right now, and
it's not good.
Charlotte pours coffee for customers at a distant booth. She
keeps looking frustratedly back at Horseman talking with
Swamp-dog.
DINER CUSTOMER
We'll pay now.
CHARLOTTE
Look, the way things are, this is
on the house ok. I hope you get to
your destinations. Thanks.
She quickly returns to Horseman and Swamp-dog.
CHARLOTTE
What's going on?
SWAMP-DOG
We think it's the end of the world,
and Horseman's transporting the key
to start it.
CHARLOTTE
What are you going to do?
HORSEMAN
I got to get them to their
destination. They're counting on
me.
CHARLOTTE
And then what happens?
They all look at each other for a moment.
CHARLOTTE
Dear god.
HORSEMAN
If it's inevitable, what's going on
right now, I got to get them
through on time.
CHARLOTTE
And if you don't? Then what? We all
survive.
SWAMP-DOG
Not with the Demon Trucker. As long
as you got that trailer, he's not
going to ever stop pursuing you.
HORSEMAN
But he's trapped on the other side
of the river.
SWAMP-DOG
Not when that bomb drops. Then
he'll be released.
Charlotte looks confused.
CHARLOTTE
The Demon Trucker?
Swamp-dog takes a deep breath.
SWAMP-DOG
The Demon Trucker. Long before,
during the ancient times, thousands
of years ago, he was in charge of
the four horses of the apocalypse.
He stabled and transported them in
the netherworld as the four
horsemen prepared to fulfill their
end-of-world prophecies. But the
power of the horses consumed him
and he stole them.
SWAMP-DOG (CONT'D)
Loading them into the trailer of
his demon big rig, he kidnapped
them to hell where he has been
waiting for the time to unleash
them upon the world.
CHARLOTTE
Why hasn't he unleashed them
already? What's stopping him?
SWAMP-DOG
Once he found himself in hell, he
discovered he was bound there for
eternity, or until the first true
sign of the end of the world takes
place. Then he will be released.
And once he's released, he will
wreak havoc upon all humankind,
filling his tanker truck with the
souls of his unfortunate
apocalyptic dead, torturing them,
imprisoning them to fuel his demon
big rig for all eternity.
CHARLOTTE
But that's us.
HORSEMAN
And at this moment, the end has
never been closer. All that's
needed is...
The sound of an emergency news broadcast plays on a small TV
in a corner of the diner.
NEWS BROADCAST
Breaking news. Emergency,
emergency...
Horseman, Charlotte, and Swamp-dog turn to look at the TV.
They get up and stand closer as the broadcast dramatically
takes place. The visual on the screen is chaotic and cuts in
and out as the broadcaster rants in a panic.
NEWS BROADCAST
This is going to be our last
broadcast. Take cover now. Take
cover. Hold on to one another.
Hundreds. Thousands of nukes are
now on their way... We are going to
try and see if...
The broadcast glitches and warps. Horseman, Charlotte, and
Swamp-dog watch on with growing fear. The four men from the
back diner booth leave unseen in the background.
The TV shows the imagery of panicked populations, nuclear
missiles streaking across the globe. Submarines and silos
launching missiles. People and families in terror. The news
broadcaster is running through a dark, chaotic building
basement hallway.
NEWS BROADCAST
Take cover now. The end is here.
Everyone, this has been...Good-
bye...
The broadcast violently cuts out to static.
Charlotte watches with tears forming in her eyes. Horseman
and Swamp-dog look at each other.
CHARLOTTE
Everyone is... ?
She looks back at the booth with the four customers and sees
they are gone.
CHARLOTTE
They're gone.
She goes to their booth. Horseman and Swamp-dog watch her.
Charlotte looks at the table and sees four of the strange-
looking toll booth coins. She picks them up and shows them to
Horseman and Swamp-dog.
CHARLOTTE
They left these.
Horseman runs to Charlotte and sees the coins. They hear the
sounds of the four horses outside. Horseman, Charlotte, and
Swamp-dog quickly run out of the diner.
EXT. HIGHWAY TRUCK STOP DINER - CONTINUOUS
Horseman, Charlotte, and Swamp-dog run out of the diner and
stop in stunned amazement at the sight before them.
The four strange customers emerge from the Horseman big rig
trailer, riding the four horses. They hover powerful and
frighteningly above the big rig: The Four Horsemen Of The
Apocalypse. Nuclear missiles streak across the night sky.

EXT. THE EERIE FERRY DOCK IN HELL - CONTINUOUS
The Demon Trucker witnesses the bright flash of light. The
giant blast of wind and debris blows across the misty river
and hits the Demon Trucker. He remains where he is as the
cloud hits him.
When the smoke and dust settle, he sees the river is now
dried up. He smiles wildly. He puts his demon tanker truck in
gear. He steps on the gas and his big rig tears out of hell
across the dried riverbed to the opposite side, entering our
world. Written on the side of the tanker trailer is: SOUL
SUCKER.

The Final Farewell
EXT. HIGHWAY TRUCK STOP DINER - CONTINUOUS
Horseman, Charlotte, and Swap-dog step back as they watch the
four horsemen rear their horses up on their hind legs. They
ride off into the dark sky.
Deep ominous sounds are heard in the distance.
HORSEMAN
We got to leave. Now.
CHARLOTTE
Where are you going?
HORSEMAN
I'm following those horsemen. I
have their trailer. They still need
me.
SWAMP-DOG
I have my own path to take. Good
luck, Horseman. The Demon Trucker
has you targeted.
HORSEMAN
And best of luck to you. It was
good knowing you, Swamp-dog.
They shake hands. Charlotte gives Swamp-dog a tearful hug.
CHARLOTTE
Take care, Swamp-dog. I wish we
could never say good-bye.
Swamp-dog smiles.
SWAMP-DOG
You're an angel, Charlotte. We'll
meet again.
He heads for his tanker truck. Charlotte turns to Horseman.
CHARLOTTE
Horseman, there can still be a way.
Leave the trailer. Let the Demon
Trucker take it and stay here with
me.
HORSEMAN
I would love to do nothing more
than stay with you forever, but
that trailer and that highway is my
destiny. Demon Trucker can never
have it.
He steps towards his truck. Charlotte angrily follows.
CHARLOTTE
Then take me with you.
HORSEMAN
I can't. Stay with your family.
They'll need you.
CHARLOTTE
My family is gone, Horseman. The
end is here. We're dead already.
They hear Swamp-dog start up his big rig. He sees Charlotte
and Horseman arguing. He looks concerned.
Suddenly, the worn-out tanker trailer of the Chem-Chemicals
truck makes strange sounds. The metal tanker swells and
bursts open.
Swamp-dog's semi-truck cab quickly corrodes away as it fills
and drowns Swamp-dog in the toxic goo he has been hauling all
his life.
Horseman holds Charlotte close as they watch their friend
perish. Charlotte has tears. Horseman breathes deep.
HORSEMAN
Rest easy, old friend. You always
knew those chemicals would catch up
with you. He's following his path.
He looks at Charlotte.
HORSEMAN
Good-bye, Charlotte.
They come together with a passionate kiss. A giant burst of
fiery light flashes on the distant horizon. Horseman heads
for his big rig. Charlotte yells at him.
She holds up the four coins.
CHARLOTTE
Horseman, you need these don't you?
Well, not unless you take me with
you.
A wind picks up as ghostly spirits begin to blow around them,
surrounding the Horseman semi-truck and trailer. Horseman and
Charlotte stare intensely at each other.
