PAULINE NEWTON, late 20s, determined, dangles precariously
from a high branch of a towering sapodilla tree. Dressed in a
stylish pantsuit and barefoot, she stretches to pluck a ripe
sapodilla fruit, her phone buzzing incessantly on a wooden
picnic table below.
The NEIGHBOR’S DOG barks furiously, adding to the chaos.
Frustration etches Pauline's features as she reaches for the
fruit, ignoring the persistent ring of her phone.
BRIAN (FILTER)
Ms. Newton, this is Brian. Please
call urgently about your overdue
loan payments.
PAULINE
Not now…
She steps onto a thin branch that sways violently. A sharp
crack pierces the air as the branch begins to splinter.
PAULINE
(murmuring to herself)
This is it. Prove them wrong,
Pauline. You’re no reckless
daughter—you can do this alone.
Just like they never could...
As she thinks, a brief FLASHBACK: In a school play, her
parents’ cheers blend with a flicker of doubt across
her face—supporting her then but now weighing her down.
Returning to the tree, Pauline's hands tremble, but her
resolve strengthens.
2 INT. NEWTON’S BEDROOM - DAY 2
The room is warm and cozy, adorned with family photos.
The TV announces actor BRADLEY JACKSON’s arrival on Andros
Island. PAUL and RACHEL NEWTON, mid-60s and mid-50s
respectively, sleep soundly until the barking and cracking
sounds jolt them awake. Rachel nudges Paul, panic rising.
RACHEL
Paul, wake up!
2.
They rush to the window. Eyes widen in horror at Pauline’s
perilous perch.
PAUL
Pauline, what on earth are you
doing up there?!
RACHEL
Get down from there! You could
end up like the last time you
climbed the neighbor's roof!
Rachel paces with worry, hands tapping her temples.
RACHEL (CONT'D)
If she keeps this up, I’m going to
have a heart attack!
Paul and Rachel dash out of the room.
3 EXT. NEWTON’S BACKYARD - DAY 3
Pauline hesitates but pushes on, determination fueling her
ascent, the branch beneath her groaning ominously.
PAULINE
(to herself)
I just need to show them I can
handle things my way!
Pauline hears the gate swing open and looks down to see
CLEMENT ROLLE, impeccably dressed and carrying a briefcase,
stepping in. Startled by his unexpected appearance, she loses
her balance and dangles precariously from a branch. Clement's
eyes widen in alarm as he rushes toward the tree.
CLEMENT
Hang on! I’m coming.
Clement scrambles up the tree with impressive agility,
reaching Pauline just as she’s about to fall.
CLEMENT
I've got you. Just stay calm.
Their eyes lock, an intense, electric moment forming
amid the chaos. As Clement helps her down, her parents
arrive, breathless and relieved.
Once on the ground, Pauline clutches the sapodilla,
chest heaving with a mix of exhaustion and pride.
3.
Paul and Rachel rush to her, their relief quickly
overshadowed by their mounting anger
PAULINE
(grinning, holding the
sapodilla triumphantly)
I got it.
PAUL
Risking your life for this? That’s
not how you prove yourself. You
could’ve ended up in a cast like
the last time!
RACHEL
Are you out of your mind? This
isn’t an adventure park, Pauline!
Rachel, frustrated, swats the sapodilla from Pauline's hand.
PAULINE
I guess I’ll just have to go back
up and get another then.
Rachel gasps, but Pauline’s playful smirk reveals her
mischievous humor—her father’s eyes soften with love.
RACHEL
(exasperated)
Why can’t you understand how
worried we get? You could have
seriously hurt yourself, just like
with that hiking accident!
PAUL
You know she thrives on her little
escapades, Rachel.
RACHEL
You’ve clearly enabled this! She
knows how to get you on her side.
Paul chuckles, the tension beginning to ease. He turns to
Clement with newfound gratitude.
PAUL
Thank you for saving her, Clement.
Rachel nods in agreement, still visibly shaken but grateful.
PAUL (CONT'D)
Perhaps it’s time we let someone
else handle these emergencies. Meet
Clement Rolle. A lawyer.
4.
PAUL (CONT'D)
I invited him here to discuss our
estate plans.
Clement raises his eyebrows, an understanding smile hinting
at personal stakes in the matter.
CLEMENT
Good morning, everyone. Mr. Newton,
I arrived early and heard quite the
commotion. I think it’s a sign to
invest in some softer landings
here.
Pauline checks her watch.
PAULINE
I'm running late for work.
Clement watches her leave, a hint of intrigue lingering in
his gaze as he takes in the complex family dynamics.

Betrayal and Ambition
4 INT. BAIN DEVELOPMENTS OFFICE - DAY 4
The office stands as a stark monument to Jack Bain's
ambition: cold, minimalist furnishings marred by terrible
art. A massive glass wall frames an ocean that roars like his
unquenchable desires—each crash of wave is a thwarted
aspiration. JACK BAIN, short and middle-aged, looms near the
window, his eyes stormy with a tempest of anger and envy,
reflecting the oppressive heaviness of the sea.
CARMEN ROBERTS, Jack's impeccably dressed secretary, enters,
clutching a manila envelope like it's a live grenade.
CARMEN ROBERTS
Mr. Bain. Clement Rolle is here.
Jack snatches the envelope with a trembling urgency. The
familiar sting of betrayal flickers in his eyes as he tears
it open to reveal takeover documents. His expression shifts,
solidifying into cold determination, shadowed by a flicker of
regret.
JACK BAIN
(to himself)
Let’s show Rachel the price of
betrayal.
Clement Rolle, Jack’s anxious nephew, steps in, clutching a
black briefcase like it’s a lifeline. Sweat glistens on his
forehead, betraying his unease.
5.
CLEMENT
Uncle, the documents you asked for—
Jack's gaze sharpens as Clement fidgets, placing the
briefcase on the desk with a tremor in his hands. He opens it
to reveal a forged birth certificate. Jack's fingers linger,
a ghost of a smile threatening to break free, but it quickly
morphs into something darker as memories of Rachel’s betrayal
flash in his mind. Jack looks up at Clement.
JACK BAIN
It looks and feels so authentic.
Carmen Roberts re-enters, her expression tense.
CARMEN ROBERTS
Mr. Bain, Sam Walters from HR
insists on seeing you. He says it’s
urgent.
Jack’s annoyance flickers across his face as he dismisses
Carmen with a wave. She opens the door, revealing SAM
WALTERS, a young HR rep, who stands unnaturally stiff, as if
bracing for impact.
SAM WALTERS
Sir, there’s an employee
threatening to go to the media
about our working conditions. They
have solid evidence—
Jack’s intensity spikes, twisting the air between them cold.
JACK BAIN
Handle it. Use whatever means
necessary. We can't afford any
messes.
Sam’s hands shake slightly, fear painted across his features.
SAM WALTERS
But if we—
JACK BAIN
(voice like ice)
Do you think I rose to my position
by hesitating? Act.
Sam nods hastily, bolting from the room as if fleeing a
predator. Jack’s eyes lock onto Clement's, a cruel flicker of
satisfaction dancing within.
6.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
Good work, Clement. What about the
paper trail?
Anxiety radiates from Clement; he swallows hard, recalling
his own fear of repercussions. His voice quivers slightly,
betraying a glimpse of moral conflict.
CLEMENT
Everything is under control. The
original records have been erased.
Jack’s smile widens, but his eyes remain steely. Clement's
facade begins to crack, his gaze darting uneasily. A moment
of silent, intense hesitation passes as Clement clutches the
briefcase tighter.
CLEMENT (CONT'D)
Uncle... what if we’re caught?
The tension mounts. Jack inches closer, his voice dropping to
a whisper, laced with danger.
JACK BAIN
Relax. You’re invisible here,
remember my investment in you?
All I’ve done for you—
Clement gulps, the weight of loyalty and fear twisting in his
gut. His hands tremble slightly, and a bead of sweat trails
down his face.
CLEMENT
No Sir. Everything will be fine.
Jack’s face darkens, his calm demeanor cracking for a moment,
revealing a flash of vulnerability. His anger flares, a
dangerous mix of frustration and desperation.
JACK BAIN
You'd better hope so, Clement. A
slip, and you’ll wish you were
never part of my empire.
The air thickens with threat, mirroring the turbulent sea
beyond the glass. A shared deception hangs between them, each
wave a reminder of the precariousness of their fates.
Jack’s eyes narrow as he looks out at the stormy ocean, his
reflection mingling with the sea’s turbulence. The scene ends
with a lingering, ominous tension that leaves the audience
questioning what will come next.

5 EXT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE - DAY 5
Tranquility Hill Lodge stands proudly atop a verdant hill,
its rustic charm a stark contrast against the rhythmic
crash of waves below. Coconuts sway gently in the warm
breeze—a haven that belies the brewing tension inside.
6 INT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE COTTAGE - DAY 6
Inside a stylish cottage, ASSISTANTS bustle at their
desks, the air buzzing with focused energy. TONY, sharp-
suited yet fidgeting, clutches a tablet. At the center,
BRADLEY JACKSON, a charismatic yet weary celebrity, finishes
posing for a PHOTOGRAPHER and HIS ASSISTANT. He shifts
uncomfortably, the smile plastered on his face quickly fading
as his turmoil seeps through.
TONY
Thank you, gentlemen. Bradley,
let’s dive into today’s agenda.
BRADLEY
A break means adventure, Tony. I
want more than just snapshots—I
want to breathe. Get me a local
guide or a car. Something real, not
a photo-op.
TONY
(sighing, his voice tight)
You're a public figure, Bradley.
Disappearing isn’t an option—not
now.
Bradley’s gaze cuts through Tony, a history of unspoken
frustrations simmering just below the surface. Before the
tension can escalate, a knock disrupts the atmosphere. TREVOR
SWAIN, the lodge manager, enters, his demeanor anxious, eyes
darting nervously. He extends a business card with a shaky
hand.
TREVOR
Good morning, Mr. Jackson. I’m
Trevor Swain, the Lodge Manager.
Sorry for my late arrival—an
emergency with my daughter. If you
need anything, please call.
BRADLEY
(accepting the card)
Just call me Bradley, Trevor.
We’re all friends here.
8.
TONY
(in a clipped tone)
I'm Tony, Mr. Jackson’s manager.
A quick, tense handshake. TRACEY DAVIS, Bradley’s steadfast
assistant, steps in, sensing the palpable discomfort. Trevor
nervously fidgets, glancing at his phone, his anxiety cutting
through the room’s artificial calm.
TONY (CONT'D)
I hope everything is okay with your
daughter.
TREVOR
(voice cracking)
She had a... a fall during recess.
Just a fracture, though. But it...
it scares you, you know?
(beat)
Last week, she said she wanted to
climb a tree like her dad did when
he was a kid. You never think a
simple game can turn.
Bradley registers the confession, a flicker of empathy
cutting through his own frustrations.
TONY
(whispers to Bradley)
A thoughtful gesture—maybe a gift
for his daughter could boost your
image.
BRADLEY
Family comes first, Trevor. Your
daughter needs you right now.
Trevor’s tough exterior cracks. Bradley’s eyes soften as he
recognizes the genuine concern in Trevor’s expression,
stirring a personal memory of his own family's challenges.
His gaze momentarily drifts to a nearby framed photo of his
family on the mantle, stirring a pang of nostalgia and
regret.
TREVOR
Thank you, Bradley. When you’re
juggling a career and family, it
can feel like you're failing at
both.
TONY
(to Bradley, uneasy)
We could tag along, offer support
without drawing attention.
9.
Bradley’s jaw clenches. The room feels increasingly
claustrophobic, the weight of expectations pressing heavily
on him.
BRADLEY
(snapping, pacing with
pent-up energy)
Tony, this was supposed to be my
escape, not a controlled
environment. I’m not your project.
TONY
(defensive)
I just want to protect your—
BRADLEY
My what? Image? Reputation? I need
space, Tony. The last time I took a
break, I was hounded by paparazzi
for weeks. I can’t do this again.
The door creaks open, and a curious MAID pokes her head in,
eyes wide with recognition, shattering the fragile moment.
MAID
Oh my gosh, are you Bradley
Jackson?!
The Maid's excitement is a jarring intrusion, yanking
everyone back into the harsh glare of fame. Bradley exchanges
a look with Tony, the weight of their argument still hanging
heavy, but his expression shifts, the weariness deepening.
BRADLEY
Just looking for some family time,
like everyone else. Can you give me
a moment, please?
The Maid nods, retreating, leaving an uneasy silence. Bradley
turns to Trevor, who is visibly trembling now, his phone in a
white-knuckle grip.
The room grows tense, the argument's intensity palpable.
Trevor’s phone vibrates insistently, heightening his anxiety.
He shifts uncomfortably, his gaze darting between the phone
and the others.
TREVOR
(startled, stammering)
Sorry, I just—
10.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
Trevor, your daughter needs you. We
will join you in support, but you
go first.
Trevor's eyes well up with gratitude, a mix of relief and
shame. He hesitates, the decision tearing at him, knowing the
stakes for his job and his daughter.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
(firmly to Tony)
No more micromanaging. Understood?
Tony’s face drains of color as he recognizes the raw emotion
in Bradley’s voice. He nods, subdued.
TONY
(nodding, subdued)
Understood.
A moment of mutual understanding, raw and unvarnished, hangs
in the air as Bradley stands tall, the serene setting outside
a stark contrast to the turmoil within. His gaze softens, the
burden of fame pressing down, but a flicker of defiance
sparks.
BRADLEY
(softly, to himself)
Sometimes, you have to lose
yourself to find your way home.
The words linger, loaded with the complexities of family,
responsibility, and the desperate need for freedom. Bradley
pushes through the door, stepping into the unknown, the storm
within him far from over.

A spacious chef's kitchen with glass cabinets and wooden

unopened, crumpled "URGENT" bank letter sits ominously on the
island, its weight pressing at her.
PAULINE (V.O.)
Another letter from the bank... and
Mom's stressing about the business
again. Can't they see I crave more
than tradition? I need my own path.
She stares at the letter for a beat. With a tremor, she picks
it up, hesitates to open it, then shoves it back into her
pocket, as if to suppress the growing anxiety.
10 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 10
A stylish living room adorned with plush couches, family

PAULINE
(sincerely)
But we can’t just react! Innovation
is key! I've studied trends—we can
attract new clients without
sacrificing our values.
RACHEL
(diplomatic)
I understand your drive, but this
business was built on tradition.
You know how much it means to us.
A pause lingers, thick with unspoken fear. Pauline’s eyes
plead for understanding.
12.
PAULINE
Yes, Mom, but I can’t live in its

us.
The emotional weight hangs in the air. As they exchange
strained smiles, Pauline exits, leaving her parents in a
silent conflict.
11 EXT. FROG ALLEY - DAY 11
Sunlight glitters on freshly paved asphalt, enhancing the

blare of an alarm shatters the peace.
12 EXT. NEWTON’S FRONT YARD - DAY 12
The manicured lawn bursts with color from vibrant tropical
plants. Pauline bolts from her house, fuming at the sound of
the alarm, only to discover her car damaged by the SUV.
PAULINE

She glances at her neighbor, Trevor.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
(waving)
Morning, Trevor.
TREVOR
Hi Pauline.
Pauline approaches her vehicle, frustration boiling over as
she surveys the damage.
13 EXT. NEWTON’S DRIVEWAY - DAY 13
Bradley steps out of the SUV to find a fiery Pauline striding
toward him.
PAULINE
Who’s responsible for this?
Bradley raises an eyebrow, apprehended by her fierce
demeanor.
13.
As a bodyguard ducks away, Pauline thrusts her business card
into Bradley’s palm, but TONY swiftly intercepts.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Call me with your insurance details
by the end of day, or I’ll involve
the police. In fact, here’s one
now.
TONY
No problem, I’ll handle it.
Just then, a police car screeches to a halt. OFFICER ROY
MACKEY, a large man with an envelop full of COURT DOCUMENTS,
steps out, his face grave.
PAULINE
Roy, what’s this about?
(discreet)
Is this from the bank?
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Hi Pauline. No, is Aunty Rachel
here? It's not good news.
Pauline's heart drops. Bradley, Tony, and Trevor share
worried glances as she dashes toward the house, where Paul
and Rachel emerge, concern etched on their faces.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY (CONT'D)
Hi Aunty, Uncle Paul. I’m afraid
Jack Bain is coming by the store
with a bulldozer Tuesday at 9 AM.
He’s got orders, and my job is to
make sure nothing stops him.
The air feels heavy as Officer Mackey hands Rachel the
envelope. Her hands tremble as she opens it.
RACHEL
This has to be a mistake!
PAULINE
I’ll leave you to handle this. I’m
sure it’s just a misunderstanding.
PAUL
I’m sure it is. We’ll sort it out
with Jack right away. Don’t worry.
PAULINE
Why would I?

SARAH, early 40s, and LUCY, a pre-teen, relax on the couch,

LUCY

Laughter fills the room, but Trevor suddenly steps forward,
his expression shifting from joy to seriousness. He
hesitates, his eyes searching the faces of his family.
TREVOR
You know, when I was younger, I had
my heart set on acting. I missed
out on some big roles...
(breathes out)
I've felt the sting of rejection

Awkward silence lingers as he swallows hard.

TREVOR's eyes brim with hope, yet his hands tremble.

TREVOR
This means everything. Thank you.
The feel-good atmosphere shifts as SARAH cuts through the
joy, a hint of fear threading her words.
SARAH
But what if it doesn’t work out? We
just got here, Trevor. Our savings—
Trevor gently takes her hands, his palms slick with sweat.
SARAH (CONT'D)
We’ve only been here a year. I’m
thankful for Pauline, our landlord.
She’s giving us a great rate to
rent this place because you
mentor her.
Trevor's heart sinks at Sarah’s fears, and he gently takes
her hands, his palms sweaty and shaking.
TREVOR
I know… But if not now, when? This
might be our chance to get above
just struggling.
Sarah’s face hardens with concern, her stress visible.
SARAH
I want to believe in you, Trevor.
But I’m worried that if this fails,
your dream could cost us more than
we can afford.
TREVOR
I’m scared of failing again. But I
can’t keep living in the shadow of
what could’ve been.
Trevor’s face reflects the weight of the situation, feeling
torn between his aspirations and the potential consequences
for his family. Bradley looks at Sarah, his expression
softening.
BRADLEY
Sarah, sometimes you have to take a
leap. You know, when I first hit
Hollywood, I had a million reasons
to back down. But I followed
my gut, and it led me here.
(earnest)
Trevor deserves that chance.

Sarah's eyes glisten, filled with compassion. She knows
the weight of his dreams is heavy on their hearts.

He’s never led us wrong.

Enter JEFF, his face a storm of fury, clutching two
envelopes, taking in the room. He strides toward Celeste,
shoving one envelope into her hands. The atmosphere shifts as
GRAMMY FLO, 70s, impeccably dressed with a small-brimmed hat
and a walking stick, enters.
PAULINE
Grammy Flo. Come right in.
18.
JEFF
This arrived at my wife’s office

Celeste’s face pales, tears welling up in her eyes as she

He slams the other envelope on the counter with a loud crash.

Celeste, Portia and Pauline pause, stare at each other.
Suddenly Celeste runs off, collapses into a chair, sobbing

19.
PAULINE
How can you stand that man?
CELESTE
The children need their father. I
can’t take that away from them.
PAULINE
The same father who just threw them

Celeste’s sobs become more desperate as she clings to
Pauline. Portia places a comforting hand on Celeste’s
shoulder, trying to offer solace.
PORTIA
You’re stronger than you know. You
deserve someone who lifts you up,
not tears you down.
CELESTE
But I’m not pretty like you two...
Grammy Flo, watching with concern, adds softly:
GRAMMY FLO
Your beauty shines from within,

the heart beyond the surface. I’ve
seen it too often—when it’s
genuine, it anchors you through the

Portia helps Celeste rise, but as she leans over, a sharp
pain flares up in her abdomen. She winces, her hand
instinctively pressing against her side.
CELESTE
Portia, did you take your
medication today?

Bittersweet Connections and Looming Threats
18 INT. TREVOR’S HOUSE LIVING ROOM - DAY 18
Bradley hugs Lucy as they say their good-byes, a bittersweet
moment buzzing with energy.
21.
He suggests leaving to Tony, who hesitates, his brow furrowed
in concern as he watches the tenderness between Bradley and
Lucy. But Bradley, eager for independence, gestures to Tony,
insisting they leave.
TONY
We really should go now, but Mr.
Jackson will swing by again, right,
Lucy?
Bradley gives Tony a playful yet disapproving smile, a silent
plea for boundaries rather than image management.
19 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 19
Pauline meticulously organizes rows of vibrant, flowing
clothing, the rustle of fabric merging with the laughter of
customers. The mood brims with jovial energy, bright and
dynamic—a stark contrast to the intimate warmth of the
previous scene. Portia and Celeste flit between shoppers,
folding and smiling, creating an atmosphere of joyful
companionship.
The door chimes with a crisp sound, and in strides Clement
Rolle. Portia’s attention snaps to him like a magnet, but
Clement’s gaze is locked onto Pauline, igniting a spark of
curiosity.
CLEMENT
Good afternoon, Pauline. I hope I’m
not interrupting the fashion show.
Pauline’s eyes widen, taken aback and intrigued despite
herself.
PAULINE
What do you want?
CLEMENT
Just a simple lunch—no strings
attached, and who knows? You might
even find a pinch of enjoyment in
my company.
An eyebrow arches on Pauline's face as her irritation gives
way to intrigue.
PAULINE
A quick lunch, huh? Just to satisfy
your curiosity about me?
22.
Clement chuckles, tossing business cards to Portia and
Celeste, who exchange surprised glances before he ushers
Pauline out. As they exit, the air crackles with energy,
leaving Portia and Celeste looking half-amused, half-envious.
20 INT. ISLAND BREEZE RESTAURANT PATIO - DAY 20
The restaurant dances with life, a kaleidoscope of sun-soaked
patrons and the salty caress of ocean air. Laughter, mingling
with the clinking of glasses, creates a jubilant symphony,
while seagulls laugh above.
Pauline fidgets at a corner table, drumming her fingers—a
subtle flicker of anxiety rippling through her. Across from
her, Clement appears at ease, soaking in the atmosphere. The
WAITER sets down their drinks, the clink of ice penetrating
the slight tension.
CLEMENT
Trust me, if it helps to calm your
nerves, I’m here to get your dad
off my back too.
Pauline manages a thin smile, the wall between them beginning
to crack. As they share light banter, the mutual love for
tree climbing becomes a bridge, helping Pauline loosen up.
She brushes her hair behind her ear, her smile warming.
In a corner of the room, Jack Bain watches the couple.
Pauline notices, her heart racing as Jack pretends he’s
engrossed in his menu, but the tension is palpable.
PAULINE
I didn't expect a high-profile
lawyer like you to care about
charity work. What drives you to
it?
CLEMENT
You know what they say: “In the
end, it’s the little moments that
count.” Making a difference, even
in small ways, is what brings me
joy. Once, I helped a kid climb a
tree in the park—I got way more mud
on me than he did.
Pauline’s apprehension begins to fade. They trade stories,
revealing deeper vulnerabilities.
23.
PAULINE
Where do you hide when you’re not
here? I know everyone in the area,
yet you seem to slip through the
cracks.
CLEMENT
North Andros. I come for work, or
the occasional breath of fresh air
to recharge.
Pauline’s initial hesitation begins to melt away, genuine
interest sparkling in her eyes—their connection blooming.
PAULINE
I can’t believe how much we
resonate. This has been
unexpectedly delightful.
Clement rises, offering his hand. Pauline lingers,
contemplating before taking it, pulling him into a warm
embrace. He seems surprised but returns the gesture, the
moment charged with a soft spark of intimacy.
They part, and Pauline’s gaze drifts to Jack Bain, who
watches them intently. Worried, she leans close to Clement.
PAULINE
(whispering, urgency
creeping in)
That man over there—he’s been
watching us.
Clement’s expression shifts from relaxed to tense as he
recognizes Jack, who approaches with a predatory smile.
JACK BAIN
Sorry to intrude. You’re Clement
Rolle, the hot-shot lawyer, right?
Pauline's fists clench under the table, unease creeping into
her expression.
CLEMENT
I know exactly who you are. I’d
prefer to keep this engagement
rooted in higher moral ground.
Jack’s smile grows oily, stepping closer with a menacing
certainty.
24.
JACK BAIN
Safeguarding my interests is my
number one priority—can’t have
distractions, after all.
With a sidelong glance at Pauline, Jack saunters off, leaving
a suffocating silence in his wake. Shaken, Pauline glances at
Clement, their budding connection now overshadowed by a
looming threat.

Tensions and Decisions at Timeless Fashions
21 EXT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 21
Two sleek SUVs glide into the parking lot, the arrival of
BRADLEY JACKSON with TONY and a couple of BODYGUARDS igniting
a frenzy of hushed whispers. The paparazzi converge, cameras
poised. The bustling scene falls into a charged silence as
the high-profile entourage strides toward the store, the air
thick with excitement.
22 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 22
Inside the store, Celeste and Portia meticulously arrange the
clothing racks, exchanging playful banter, when the door
chimes. SUSAN, Jeff's wife, enters with a purposeful stride,
her eyes scanning the room like a hawk.
SUSAN
I’m looking for Celeste Braynen.
Celeste's heart races. She hesitates, a nervous swallow
betraying her composure. She steps forward, forcing a smile
that falters as Susan’s icy glare meets her.
SUSAN (CONT'D)
Celeste. Heard so much about
you—and your "impeccable taste." I
need something... sexy. To rekindle
my husband Jeff's interest. It’s
been... waning.
Susan's tone oozes condescension, every word sharp as glass.
Her gaze darts to Jeff, who visibly shifts, uncomfortable.
Celeste glances at Portia, who gives her a quick, reassuring
nod.
Celeste gestures to a rack of glamorous outfits, her anxiety
palpable. Susan picks up a particularly provocative dress,
lips curling into a knowing smirk. Jeff's expression darkens,
caught between his wife and the unsettling tension hanging in
the air.
25.
SUSAN (CONT'D)
Sometimes, clarity comes from
unexpected places.
Celeste fidgets, avoiding eye contact, the weight of the
moment nearly suffocating.
SUSAN (CONT'D)
(leaning in, dangerously)
Of course, clarity can be elusive
when there’s so much... movement
behind the scenes.
Celeste’s breath catches, her face paling. The threat hovers
like a storm cloud, and she struggles to maintain composure.
SUSAN (CONT'D)
But you know what? I’ve changed my
mind. I won’t be needing that
outfit.
Susan turns on her heel, her exit as calculated as her
entrance. Jeff shares a fleeting, apologetic glance with
Celeste, relief washing over his tense features.
MOMENTS LATER
TONY, flanked by a bodyguard, approaches Portia, who is
helping a customer.
TONY
We need to clear the store for a
VIP who values privacy.
PORTIA
Clear the store? We’re swamped.
Can’t this wait?
Tony shakes his head firmly. Portia sighs, reluctantly begins
to clear the store. Suddenly, Bradley Jackson walks in,
causing Celeste and Portia to freeze, anticipation crackling
in the air.
BRADLEY
Yes, it's me Bradley Jackson.
Portia recovers first, stepping forward, eager to impress.
PORTIA
Mr. Jackson, I’m Portia. Feel free
to browse. Anything you fancy, just
holler.
26.
CELESTE
I'm Celeste.
TONY
Nice to meet you. I'm Tony.
As they trail after Portia, Bradley nudges Tony, a
mischievous grin forming.
BRADLEY
You should definitely ask Celeste
out.
Tony’s expression says it all: no way. Bradley approaches
Celeste, leaving Portia glaring with intrigue.
CELESTE
(slightly flustered)
How can I help you, Mr. Jackson?
BRADLEY
I noticed Tony checking you out.
Tony tries to steer them back to business.
TONY
Celeste, we need a dress for a
young girl.
He gestures vaguely, clearly wishing to shift the focus, but
before Celeste can respond, Portia swiftly selects a dress
and hands it to Bradley.
PORTIA
Here’s a lovely option. And if you
need anything else, I’m at your
service.
Flustered, Celeste quickly shoves another dress in front of
Bradley.
CELESTE
And here’s another?
PORTIA
She's off the market, but I’m
always available.
CELESTE
We’re not together anymore.
Sensing the tension, Bradley tries to lighten the mood.
27.
BRADLEY
Ladies, indulge yourselves. It's on
me. Enjoy.
Their eyes brighten at the invitation. Quietly, Portia pulls
Celeste aside for a moment.
PORTIA
Girl, you and Jeff are really done?
CELESTE
Yes, I’m making it official now.
can’t keep pretending...
They share a knowing look, the weight of their unspoken
support creating a tether between them.
PORTIA
Remember, we’re in this together.
You deserve more than just
survival.
They breathe together, the friendship between them feeling
more solid, ready to face what’s next.

Confrontation in the Office
23 INT. BAIN DEVELOPMENTS OFFICE - DAY 23
In his opulent office, JACK BAIN, early 40s, sits with a
controlled arrogance. Paul and Rachel, in their 30s, settle
into their seats opposite him. The air is thick with tension.
JACK BAIN
(smirking)
There's been an unfortunate
boundaries error regarding the
Timeless Fashions property.
Rachel’s face tightens with confusion. She fidgets with her
necklace, exchanging a worried glance with Paul.
RACHEL
What are you implying, Jack?
Jack flips through the documents, his movements deliberate.
JACK BAIN
According to Sarah Ann Miller’s
1896 will, the land belongs to the
Bain family. Your building
encroaches twenty-four feet onto my
property.
28.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
Now I would demolish it today but
the court has me waiting until
Tuesday at 9 am.
Rachel’s eyes widen, breath catching in her throat, her fists
clenching in response. Memories flash—a childhood summer
spent in the Bain estate, laughter echoing in the halls. She
shakes it off.
RACHEL
(asserting)
This is absurd. My father built
that store!
Jack leans back, a smug smile dancing on his lips, reveling
in her distress.
JACK BAIN
Seems our ancestors couldn’t count
or didn’t have a measuring tape.
The tension thickens. Rachel’s voice trembles with suppressed
anger.
RACHEL
Why are you doing this, Jack? We
grew up together...even if there’s
a mistake, why take such a harsh
stance?
Jack leans forward, a mock concern etched on his face,
reaching out to comfort her. She jerks her hand away, glaring
at him.
JACK BAIN
You made your choice, I made mine.
As per the Quieting Title Act, I
published notices in the Gazette
and on the premises.
RACHEL
Jack, you never posted any notice.
We would have met you in court.
Jack's smile widens, eyes glinting with malice.
JACK BAIN
The statute doesn’t specify the
notice size. I followed the law.
Now, if you’ll excuse me.
The sound of a clock ticking in the background underscores
the urgency of the moment. Paul’s jaw tightens, and Rachel’s
hands shake as they rise to leave.
29.
JACK BAIN
Tick-tock, Rachel. 9 am Tuesday.
Give me what I want, or I’m afraid
the consequences will be more than
just financial.
Paul darts at Jack Bain but Rachel stops him. As Paul and
Rachel exit, understanding Jack’s dismissal, he calls out.
MOMENTS LATER
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
You can come out now.
Clement Rolle emerges from a concealed door, smirking.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
You’ve done a decent job getting
close, but now I need
everything—financial records, sales
reports, marketing plans. I don’t
just want to destroy a building; I
want to destroy them. Get closer!
CLEMENT
How do you suppose I do that?
Jack hands Clement a flash drive and a sheet of paper, his
grin unyielding.
JACK BAIN
This is a custom-made script I had
a cyber-security specialist
prepare. It extracts specific files
while leaving no trace. Follow
these instructions. I’ll give you
$10,000 if you pull this off.
CLEMENT
Okay Uncle but this will be my last
job. They’re good people.
Jack’s demeanor darkens. He steps into Clement’s space, eyes
glinting dangerously.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
If you want out, you'll have to
earn it. Now, get the job done. I
wouldn’t want to see
anything...happen to your family.

30.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
But a few well-placed accidents can
change everything.
The store is a kaleidoscope of colors, racks adorned with
vibrant dresses and neatly folded fabrics, exuding the fresh
scent of new clothes. Clothing strewn all over the counter.
Portia hands Bradley a meticulously gift-wrapped box as he
pays for the ladies' items and Lucy’s gift.
TONY
Celeste, sorry we closed your
store. I hope it wasn’t an
inconvenience.
CELESTE
No inconvenience at all, Tony.
Bradley and his entourage exits. Portia notices as Celeste
and Tony share a warm smile before he too exits.
MOMENTS LATER
Pauline enters, her eyes narrowing as she takes in the
scattered clothes and colorful gift wrapping. Portia and
Celeste exchange a meaningful glance, brimming with
excitement.
PAULINE
What’s happened here?
PORTIA
Bradley Jackson happened. He
surprised us with these!
Pauline's eyebrows shoot up in surprise.
PAULINE
Who?
PORTIA
Well “mudda sick” girl. You live in
the bush ay? He’s apparently got a
heart under all that fame.
Celeste nods eagerly, her enthusiasm contagious.
31.
CELESTE
Every bit of this belongs to us!
We’ve trying to get you to
understand that!
PAULINE
Really? Why the splurge on
strangers, though? Makes me
reconsider my life choices.
A wistful expression crosses Pauline's face, envy flickering
for a moment. She seems lost in thought, grappling with her
own professional shortcomings. Portia notices Pauline's
vulnerability and steps closer.
PORTIA
It’s nice, right? A guy who’s more
than just a pretty face.
Pauline quickly shifts her attention to the computer,
overwhelmed by the sales review that flashes before her eyes.
She glances at Portia and Celeste, her emotions a mix of
surprise and relief.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Oh my goodness. I can’t believe
this. Sales had been so slow.
Portia and Celeste share a brief, light-hearted laugh, easing
some of the tension.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
I need to tell Mom and Dad! Who is
this guy? I need to thank him
personally!
As Pauline watches Celeste caress her new dresses, a sudden
realization strikes her.
PAULINE
Celeste, you can’t keep these
gifts!
Celeste’s smile dims, a trace of worry crossing her face.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
How are you going to explain these
new outfits to Jeff? You know he’s
not exactly subtle about his
opinions.
CELESTE
I’m not giving anything back. Jeff
can handle it, or not.
32.
Just then, Jeff enters the store, his expression darkening as
he catches the tail end of the conversation. He’s carrying a
bag of take-out lunch, and the tension thickens.
JEFF
Is that how you talk about me
behind my back? Here I am, bringing
you lunch because I felt sorry for
how things went, only to find out
you’re already accepting gifts from
other men.
Celeste glances nervously at Portia, guilt flickering in her
eyes. Pauline, sensing the shift in atmosphere, takes a step
forward, ready to intervene.
Jeff, maybe we should all just take a breath and—
Pauline, sensing the rising tension, steps forward.
CELESTE
Jeff, maybe we should all just take
a breath and—
JEFF
This isn’t your business, Pauline.
Portia, trying to diffuse the situation, speaks up.
PORTIA
(trying to mediate)
Jeff, it’s not what you think.
Bradley was just being nice—
JEFF
(cutting her off, his gaze
unyielding)
This isn’t your business either,
Portia. Celeste, I’m not asking.
I’m telling. You’re not keeping
them.
Celeste hesitates, her defiance fading as she feels the
weight of Jeff’s demand. She looks down at the dresses, then
back up at him, her shoulders slumping in resignation.
CELESTE
(sighing deeply)
Fine. I won’t keep them.
Jeff watches her for a long moment, his gaze hard and
unyielding. The tension hangs thick in the air. Finally, he
nods curtly, grabbing the takeout bag.
33.
Without another word, he turns on his heel and leaves, the
door slamming behind him.
The room is left in a stunned silence. Pauline and Portia
exchange worried glances, while Celeste stares at the
dresses, her emotions a swirl of regret, anger, and
resignation. The tension is palpable, even in the stillness.
PAULINE
(Softly, almost to
herself)
This isn’t over...
Portia steps closer to Celeste, placing a comforting hand on
her shoulder.
PORTIA
You okay?
Celeste doesn't respond, her eyes still locked on the
dresses, the weight of the moment sinking in. Finally she
shakes her head. The three women stand together, a silent
understanding passing between them, as they prepare to face
the fallout from Jeff’s ultimatum.

A cozy dining room with a wooden table, vintage chairs, and a
china closet. Sunlight filters through the window, casting
warm patterns on the walls. Pauline, elated, practically
glides into the room, her smile radiant as she greets
greeting Grammy Flo, Paul, and Rachel with a bright smile.
PAULINE
Great to see you, Grammy.
GRAMMY FLO
You’re positively beaming, Pauline.
What’s cooking?
PAULINE
(excited)
You’ll never believe it! A generous
stranger just splurged at the
store! We shattered our sales
records, and I came up with a
redesign promotion for Timeless!
Paul pride mingles with a hint of traditional expectation.
He leans back, crossing his arms.
34.
PAUL
Wow. You should find a man like
that to settle down with.
Pauline’s smile falters, her enthusiasm dampened. She sits,
fidgeting with her hands, her shoulders tense.
PAULINE
Dad, why does everything have to
lead to marriage and kids?
Paul and Rachel share a worried glance. Paul clears his
throat, attempting a softer approach.
PAUL
Your mother and I just... we want
to see you settled, Pauline. We’re
getting older. Grandkids—
Pauline’s fingers dig into her lap. She takes a moment,
catching her breath.
PAULINE
If you’re so desperate for
grandkids, why don’t you just adopt
them?
Paul’s eyes widen in shock, his face a mask of confusion and
anger. Rachel’s eyes are filled with worry.
PAUL
Who adopts grand children?
Grammy Flo's watching with keen eyes, finally interjects.
GRAMMY FLO
You know, when I was your age,
family expectations felt like
chains. But with every choice, I
learned to break my own—
PAULINE
Fair enough. I need to start living
life on my own terms. I don’t need
a husband to have a child!
Paul’s face reddens. He slams his hand on the table, causing
the dishes to rattle.
PAUL
No, this is my house, and I’m
putting my foot down. You will not
disrespect our family values.
35.
The table shakes with his fury. Grammy Flo’s hand tightens
around her walking stick, her eyes narrowing at Paul.
GRAMMY FLO
You’ve crossed a line, Paul.
Paul recoils, his anger faltering. Pauline stands abruptly,
her voice trembling with suppressed rage.
PAULINE
And I’m sick of your old-fashioned
nonsense. I’m not living under your
thumb anymore!
Paul’s face crumples with defeat. He storms out of the room,
slamming the door behind him. The silence left in his wake is
heavy.
Rachel’s face is a mixture of sorrow and conflicted loyalty.
She turns to Grammy Flo, her voice breaking.
RACHEL
Mom, I’ve been carrying this weight
for so long. I’ve made choices for
the family, but sometimes I wonder
if I’ve lost myself.
GRAMMY FLO
Duty guides, but it does not
define. Your spirit is your own.
Rachel's resolve wavers, gratitude and longing melding
within her.
RACHEL
Sometimes I just wish to break free
from the constraints of what is
expected and find my own way.
Grammy Flo reaches out, her weathered hands enveloping
Rachel’s, the room steeped in poignant silence, a bond
strengthened by tradition and resilience, as if exhaling
an unspoken promise of support.
As Pauline exits, she stops briefly in the doorway,
looking back. In that moment, she’s both vulnerable
and resolute—ready to embrace her future.
With the door closing behind her, an unshakable silence
fills the room.

Balancing Dreams and Duty
26 INT. PAULINE’S BEDROOM - DAY 26
Pauline’s chic, modern bedroom is a stark contrast to the
chaos in her mind. Designer clothes hang neatly in her

catching the sunlight. A plush queen-sized bed waits
untouched, bearing the weight of her indecision.
She stares at the novel "I'm Not in Love" by Kaysha Taylor,
its cover evoking dreams of a life unburdened by family
expectations. A longing sigh escapes her lips as her thoughts
drift to the store—the heart of their family legacy—now
threatened by Jack Bain's legal machinations.
Taking a deep breath, her fingers hover over her cellphone.
The weight of their legal battle feels suffocating; Bain’s
threats to strip away everything they’ve built loom
ominously. Just as she steels herself to make a call, her
phone rings, jolting her. She swallows hard and answers.
PAULINE
Hello.
CLEMENT (FILTER)

The seriousness in Clement’s voice sends a chilling shiver

Are you disappointed in me?
GRAMMY FLO
I'd only be disappointed if you let
fear dictate your life. Everyone
faces challenges, but it’s the love
for what you do that counts.
They share a moment of understanding, Pauline's emotions
steadying in the warmth of her grandmother’s embrace.
Suddenly, she pulls back, contemplating her future, shadows
of doubt flitting across her features. The ticking clock in
the background underscores the urgency of Clement’s impending
arrival.
27 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 27

Clement’s gentle smile is tinged with concern as he observes
her emotional state.

A moment of silence stretches; the outside world presses

of brewing coffee. Tony, sharply dressed and radiating
efficiency, navigates a whirlwind of staff activity, calling
out orders while tapping furiously on his tablet.
Bradley enters, dressed casually in shorts and slippers. His
tense demeanor contrasts starkly with the bustling energy

BRADLEY
Morning.
The staff nod politely. TONY glances up, his eyes softening

made it out without getting hurt!
Now you want to stroll around the
Bahamas like you’re invisible?
A heavy silence hangs between them as the implications of
TONY's words settle in. BRADLEY looks down, the weight of his
celebrity pressing on him.
BRADLEY
I’m not living in a bubble, Tony! I
need to breathe, to feel like a
normal human being, just for a few
hours. Is that too much to ask?
As Bradley’s voice cracks, it reveals more than
desperation—it’s a deeper yearning for authenticity,
something he’s lost in the whirlwind of fame.
TONY
You think that’ll make everything
go away? You're playing with fire,
Brad. What if something happens?
What if this time, they don’t just
want autographs?
BRADLEY pauses, absorbing TONY's seriousness, but then
quickly brushes it off.
BRADLEY
I need some Bahamian food. Today,
I’m living like a local! Yeah man.
TONY
Fine! If you insist, this would
be the perfect time to drop off
Lucy’s gift.
42.
Bradley hesitates, glancing toward the door, then refocusing
on Tony.
BRADLEY
Just find me an ordinary car, one
that looks like, I dunno, a mime's
getaway vehicle.
Tony snatches a cap and sunglasses from an assistant,
thrusting them into Bradley's hands like a concerned parent
ensuring their child's safety.
TONY
Not without Security.
Bradley waves his security team off dismissively, stepping
toward the door with newfound resolve. Tony is left fuming,
concern etched on his face.
30 EXT. QUEEN’S HIGHWAY - DAY 30
Bradley, now sporting the cap and sunglasses, drives an
unremarkable car down a lonely, pine-tree-lined highway. His
brow is furrowed in thought—a celebrity craving normalcy.
BRADLEY (V.O.)
Why can’t I just be me? Just once.
A fleeting doubt washes over him as he takes in the serene
landscape outside—familiar yet always just out of reach.
31 EXT. TREVOR’S HOUSE - DAY 31
Trevor and Sarah stand in the doorway, watching as Bradley
exits, confusion settling in after the unexpected encounter.
SARAH
You’re going to spoil her you know.
BRADLEY
Little girls should be spoiled.
Bradley winks and subtly passes Trevor a business card, their
exchange slipping past Sarah’s radar.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
Call Naomi, the Casting Director.
She's got an offer for you. Welcome
to Hollywood, Trevor.
43.
Trevor's face brightens, relief washing over him as he gives
Bradley a discreet thumbs-up.
TREVOR
How’s it feel, man? The pressure
must be insane.
BRADLEY
You have no idea. Sometimes I need
a break from the chaos, you know?
Trevor nods in understanding as Bradley waves them
goodbye, striding toward his car.
32 INT. TREVOR’S HOUSE LIVING ROOM - DAY 32
The room is warmly lit, a cozy cocoon of family bonds. Trevor
stands, determination radiating from him, yet his nervousness
palpable. Sarah and Lucy, sensing the weight of the moment,
look on.
TREVOR
Bradley just got me a part. This
could be massive! I just need to
make the call to confirm.
Sarah’s eyes widen, emotions swirling as she processes
Trevor’s dream. Lucy, wide-eyed, shifts nervously between her
parents.
LUCY
(eyes wide with wonder)
Does this mean we get to see movie
stars, Daddy? Are we really moving
to Hollywood?
TREVOR
I need to know if you’re both with
me on this. If it feels too much,
I’ll decline. I just want us
united.
Trevor's gaze darts between Sarah and Lucy, seeking their
support. Lucy tentatively smiles, and Sarah’s fears begin to
dissipate as she joins in the smile. Trevor’s eyes glisten
with gratitude as they share a heartfelt embrace.

33 EXT. NEWTON’S DRIVEWAY - DAY 33
Bradley pulls into PAULINE’S driveway, steps out with a blend
of excitement and dread as he mentally prepares for the next
phase of his day.
34 INT. NEWTON'S DINING ROOM - DAY 34
Morning light filters through large windows, casting a warm
glow over a cluttered mahogany dining table. A clock’s
ticking adds urgency to the anxious atmosphere.
Paul and Rachel fidget across from each other, their
expressions tight.
RACHEL
(pointing at a map)
Mammy passed this land down to me
like her daddy did. It’s
practically a family heirloom.
PAUL
True, but in the Family Islands, 10
years of squatters’ rights could
come into play. Our forefathers
never got titles—just a will and
most were not probated.
Rachel scans the document, growing increasingly frustrated.
RACHEL
The lineage is clear, Paul! It's
the boundaries causing the
headache. Twenty-four feet might as
well be a gulf apart. How did Jack
even find out?
Paul shifts from agitation to steely resolve.
PAUL
We need action—now. I’m hiring a
surveyor.
Rachel drums her fingers on the table, anxiety radiating off
her.
A knock interrupts their argument. Paul slings open the door.
His irritation dissipates when he sees Bradley.

Tensions at the Newtons' Breakfast
35 EXT. NEWTON’S HOUSE - DAY 35
The door swings open just as Bradley is about to knock.
BRADLEY
Hi. I’m Bradley Jackson. We dented
a lady’s car yesterday.
I’m here to sort it out.
36 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 36
Paul sizes up Bradley before breaking into a sly smile.
PAUL
That would be my daughter Pauline
you’re looking for. Come in.
BRADLEY (O.S.)
Thank you.
37 INT. NEWTON'S DINING ROOM - DAY 37
Bradley steps inside, stopping to admire the vibrant orchids
around the room. Rachel notices and beams warmly.
RACHEL
Paul, why not let our guest join us
for breakfast?
She gestures for Bradley to sit, while Paul hides the maps
with a twinkle of mischief in his eye.
BRADLEY
Thank you. You’re all incredibly
welcoming.
As Bradley butter a slice of toast, Paul interjects
PAUL
He’s here for Pauline.
RACHEL
Why didn’t you say so? Let's go!
Rachel suddenly snatches the toast from his hand, surprising
him. She pulls him to his feet, drags him along.
46.
38 INT. PAULINE’S BEDROOM - DAY 38
The scene shifts to a bright yet chaotic bedroom adorned with
posters, a clutter of novels, and an unfinished
painting—reflecting her aspirations and struggle for
identity.
PAULINE (V.O.)
(thoughtful)
Why can’t they see? I need space.
It’s my life, not theirs...
Suddenly, Paul and Rachel enter with Bradley. Pauline sleeps
soundly, wearing a blindfold, wrapped in blankets, her
peaceful state interrupted only by a chuckle from Bradley.
PAUL
Pauline! Rise and shine!
Paul gently nudges her awake. Pauline startles, pulls down
her blindfold, her eyes darting around the room.
PAULINE
(mumbling, half-asleep)
It’s Sunday, my beloved day off...
PAUL
You have a visitor!
She peeks out from her cocoon of blankets, her eyes widening
as she spots Bradley, her scream punctuating the stillness.
PAULINE
It’s a man! Dad, what did you do!?
How could you bring him into my
bedroom?
Panic-fueled, she yanks her blindfold back over her eyes.
PAUL
(humorous)
You’re dreaming!
Hesitantly, Pauline peeks again, her face tightening in
horror. She lets out another shriek.
PAULINE
Dad! You lied! Get him out!
BRADLEY
Maybe some other time?
47.
PAUL
Come on Bradley. Pauline, breakfast
is ready. We have a guest.
The trio exits, leaving Pauline flustered, pacing and
scrambling for a moment of peace.
39 EXT. NEWTON'S HOUSE - DAY 39
Brian, the banker in a sharp suit, pulls over, checks the
address, and exits the vehicle. He drops the sign and
envelope he’s holding but quickly picks them up and heads to
the house.
40 INT. NEWTON'S DINING ROOM - DAY 40
Bradley, Paul, and Rachel are having breakfast at the table
when Pauline storms in, her icy expression fixed on Bradley.
PAULINE
Who is this man?
RACHEL
Is that how we trained you?
PAULINE
(calmly, then heatedly)
My apologies. Good morning
everyone. Who is this man?
Bradley stands, drawn by Pauline's presence. He takes in a
whiff of her perfume, momentarily dazed.
BRADLEY
Wow. You smell -- beautiful.
Pauline’s eyes narrow, her irritation flaring. She fidgets
with her hands, anxiously trying to maintain composure.
PAUL
Bradley is single.
Pauline lares at her father.
PAULINE
Dad, stop. This is humiliating. Why
is he even here? I’m going out.
RACHEL
Pauline, you can't keep running
away every time things get tough.
48.
PAULINE
Running away? I'm living my life,
not being paraded!
Pauline heads towards the front door, followed by Bradley.
BRADLEY
It was great meeting you both.
PAULINE
I’m moving out.
PAUL
Care to put that in writing?
PAULINE
(turning to Bradley)
Stay away from me!
Pauline grips the doorknob about to open it, as a knock
echoes through the hallway. Taking a deep breath, she swings
the door open to find BRIAN, in a suit, stands there with a
foreclosure sign and clipboard.
BRIAN
(handing her an envelope)
Morning, Pauline. I’m afraid I’ve
got something for you.
Stunned, Pauline tries to push Brian back out the door.
PAULINE
(tight-lipped)
Brian, you can't be serious!
BRIAN
Good morning Sir, Mrs Newton.
RACHEL
Brian.
PAUL
What’s that’s for, Brian?
BRAIN
It’s for the front lawn.
PAUL
(voice rising)
I don’t understand?
Brian fumbles, flipping through papers with shaking hands.
49.
BRIAN
Wait—this isn’t right. It's for the
store, not here.
Paul’s face flushes with anger. His hands clench into fists,
knuckles whitening, as he tears the sign from Brian’s grasp
throwing it outside.
PAUL
Pauline, we appreciate your help
with the store, but you should have
come to us. You’re not alone in
this.
Pauline’s face flushes, tears threatening as she nods,
feeling an internal struggle.
PAUL (CONT'D)
Brian, get back to the bank and
transfer the amount needed to pay
off the loan from mine and Rachel’s
account. Now.
BRIAN
(stammering)
Yes, Boss... I mean, Mr. Newton.
PAUL
Brian. I’m no longer your boss. But
you’ll do it anyway. Understand?
Brian nods, swallowing hard before hurrying off, leaving
Pauline standing in the doorway, her hands shaking. Rachel
moves to comfort her, but Pauline steps back, eyes downcast.
Pauline’s eyes dart to Bradley’s, but she quickly looks away,
feeling the weight of her decisions heavy on her shoulders.

Beneath the Surface
41 EXT. QUEEN’S HIGHWAY - DAY 41
Pauline and Bradley cruise along the barren highway under a
slate-gray sky. Tension crackles in the air as Pauline
tightens her grip on the wheel, abruptly cutting off Bradley
before he can speak.
PAULINE
I know what you’re thinking, but
it's really none of your business.
Bradley sighs, drumming his fingers on his knees. He steals a
sidelong glance at her, unsure how to breach the silence.
50.
42 INT/EXT. PAULINE’S CAR - IN MOTION - DAY 42
Bradley removes his sunglasses and cap, his penetrating gaze
unsettling Pauline.
BRADLEY
Your parents seem lovely.
PAULINE
Did they send you here for a
sympathy visit?
BRADLEY
No. I'm just here to handle the
insurance.
Bradley pulls out a business card, hands it to Pauline.
PAULINE
So, you're the Idiot? Thanks... I
guess.
BRADLEY
No problem. My Agent will set you
up with a rental while your’s is
repaired.
Pauline nods in acknowledgment, accepting the card.
BRADLEY
Where are we headed to next?
Pauline abruptly stops the car, gripping the wheel tightly.
PAULINE
This isn't a 'we' situation.
BRADLEY
Got it. But maybe you could show me
somewhere serene?
Pauline’s resolve flickers, and she half-smiles, a weary
trace of trust, before re-engaging the gears, her heart
clearly torn.
As they drive, Pauline sneaks a wary glance at Bradley,
skepticism lurking behind her tired eyes. Their path leads
over a bridge spanning a tranquil creek.
51.
She stops, and they step out to capture the picturesque scene
and ‘selfies’ with their phones which is serene, save for the
sound of water lapping gently against the stones below.
As they continue their drive, suddenly, a group of crabs
scuttle across the road. Pauline swerves, slamming the
brakes, then reverses to a stop before jumping out. With
practiced grace, she springs to her trunk, pulling out a
burlap bag and a stick. In lively motions, she deftly traps
the crabs, securing them in the bag and tossing it in her
trunk.
As they continue the journey, Bradley stares, astonished, a
smile pulling at the corners of his mouth, wanting to ask...
PAULINE
Yes, I’m going to eat them.
Amidst the unexpected joy, Bradley glances out the window as
they drive, sensing an adventure ahead.
BRADLEY
So where are we - you headed now?
PAULINE
A dive spot. You up for a little
adventure?
Her smile now glints with mischief, practically daring him.
He hesitates, unease creeping in as he attempts to decipher
her intentions.
43 EXT. UNCLE CHARLIE’S BLUE HOLE - DAY 43
They arrive at Uncle Charlie's Blue Hole, where a woman in a
nearby vehicle recognizes Bradley and hurriedly dials a
number on her cellphone.
Pauline and Bradley wander down a rustic path, surrounded by
pine trees that waft a fresh, earthy scent. They arrive at a
vast blue hole, a digital phone capturing its beauty—a wooden
deck hangs perilously over the edge, creating a sense of both
allure and danger.
BRADLEY
This place is... unreal. It’s like
stepping into another world.
Pauline smiles mischievously, watching him lean closer to the
edge, excitement and apprehension stitched across his face.
52.
PAULINE
But don’t lean too far. There have
been sightings of the Lusca sea
monster here.
A flicker of fear crosses Bradley's face, and he glances
toward Pauline.
PAULINE (O.C.)
Imagine a half-octopus, half-shark.
It scales the walls, latches onto
your legs and pulls you down.
Laughter dances in her eyes as she moves behind Bradley, a
playful grin forming.
Suddenly, she yanks on his leg, startling him.
BRADLEY
(alarmed)
What the—
His foot slips, teetering on the edge. He flails but it’s too
late—he plunges over the edge.
BRADLEY
(terrified)
I can’t swim.
The tranquil surface erupts into chaos as he splashes down.
Fear grips him, his struggles frantic, the wide blue
swallowing him whole.
BRADLEY
(desperate, gasping)
Help! Help!
PAULINE
Hold tight, I’m coming!
Without a moment’s hesitation, Pauline dives in after him.
The cold water shocks her system as she plunges down, her
heart pounding in her ears. She spots Bradley go under, his
movements frantic.
With a mix of determination and panic, she swims toward him,
her strokes strong and deliberate. Bradley’s head breaks the
surface, his gasps for air mingling with panicked cries.
Pauline reaches him, grabbing him tightly.
She pulls him towards the wooden deck, her muscles straining
as she fights against the weight of both their bodies and the
force of the water. Bradley, coughing and sputtering, manages
to crawl onto the deck, trembling with shock and fear.
53.
44 EXT. UNCLE CHARLIE’S BLUE HOLE/DOCK - DAY 44
Bradley collapses onto the dock, gasping. He rolls onto his
back, the sky swallowing his rage, his chest heaving against
the rough wood. The distant lapping of water is punctuated
by the faint whir of a drone hovering overhead. Shielding
his eyes from the sun, he squints at the descending
machine before spotting Pauline. His fists clench at his
sides as he struggles to sit up.
BRADLEY
What the hell, Pauline? What were
you thinking?
Pauline pulls herself onto the dock, skin glistening
with water, breath heavy and uneven. Guilt etches itself
across her expression, tears glistening in her eyes.
PAULINE
(voice trembling)
I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean for it
to go that far... I thought it
would be a harmless prank.
Bradley’s disbelief knots his brow.
BRADLEY
A prank? I thought I was going to
drown out there!
Pauline flinches, her knees trembling against the dock's
surface. She sits beside him, her hands shaking, tears
spilling unchecked.
PAULINE
Hurting you was never my intention.
I just wanted to have some fun. But
I see now... it was reckless.
They share a heavy silence, the gravity of the moment
amplifying the surrounding sounds of water brushing against
the dock. Bradley closes his eyes, recalling the panic,
the suffocating grip of the water. The memory resurfaces
with a visceral gasp.
BRADLEY
(voice low, raw)
I panicked... I could feel it
closing in. I thought I’d never—
The tremor in his voice cracks through Pauline’s
composure. She leans closer, sincerity flooding her gaze.
54.
PAULINE
I can’t forgive myself for that...
I was foolish.
The ambiance around them dims, leaving just the echo of
their vulnerability. Finally, Bradley turns to her, his
features softening, understanding flickering in his eyes.
BRADLEY
Just promise... no more pranks,
okay?
PAULINE
(choked, tears spilling)
I can’t promise you that.
BRADLEY
(sharp)
No more pranks Pauline!
Pauline nods, guilt twisting in the pit of her stomach. They
sit quietly as the tide lifts around the dock, a metaphor
for their escalating urgency.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
(trying for levity)
So... how about we get out of here
before that sea monster comes back
to finish the job?
A small, relieved smile breaks through her tears as she
nudges him playfully.
PAULINE
I suppose now isn't the best time
to mention the legend of the
Chickcharney, huh?
Bradley chuckles softly, shaking his head when—
BRADLEY
I lost my slipper.
Pauline points down, she’s lost hers too.
Suddenly, the drone's hum intensifies, hovering above
them, recording their intimate moment. Their laughter fades
into an anxious silence.
They help each other to their feet, casting wary looks at
the relentless drone. They step away toward the trees,
the weight of scrutiny palpable.
55.
PAULINE
How come you never learnt to swim?
Bradley’s expression softens, reflecting a deeper turmoil.
BRADLEY
It’s... a long story. Some fears
run deep. On to the next adventure?
Pauline's eyes reflect understanding, a silent compassion
bridging their distance.
PAULINE
Do you like orchids?
Bradley's mask wavers, his vulnerability peeking through.
BRADLEY
I adore orchids. My mother
introduced me to them... I collect
them, actually.
They walk in silence towards the car, the bond between them
slowly solidifying, steady like the turning tide.
MOMENTS LATER
As they reach the car, a paparazzi disguised as a tourist
discreetly stashes the drone's remote in his vehicle, eyes
darting between them, a predator waiting for a moment.
The drone lingers overhead, capturing them as they drive
away, a harbinger of the challenges to come.

Secrets Unveiled
45 EXT. BLACK GROUND PARK - DAY 45
Pauline and Bradley exit her vehicle, stepping into a park
alive with lush greenery and vibrant orchids. The sun
sparkles, illuminating their path.
BRADLEY
Share a secret. Something most
people don’t know.
PAULINE
You first.
Bradley, usually confident, fidgets slightly.
56.
BRADLEY
I grew up watching my parents in
this perfect love story, but I
never felt it myself. I’m still
searching for that.
PAULINE
Aren’t we all?
Their eyes lock, an electric moment. Pauline’s gaze drifts to
a tree heavy with ripe sapodillas. With a playful grin, she
climbs up, nimble and carefree.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Your turn—while I grab us a snack.
She clambers down, presenting Bradley with a sapodilla.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Here. Sapodillas are my favorite.
He takes a cautious bite, his expression shifting to
surprise.
BRADLEY
This is... surprisingly delightful.
PAULINE
You’d make a terrible actor.
They burst into laughter. Bradley steps closer but Pauline
retreats.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Maybe we should wrap this up.
A beat. Bradley withdraws, sensing the distance.
BRADLEY
Seems like we're always on guard.
Suddenly, a drone buzzes overhead, menacing and low. Its
black casing glints ominously in the sunlight, a camera
protruding menacingly beneath its rotors. They look up,
confusion etched across their faces.
BRADLEY
We need to go!
PAULINE
It’s just a drone. Why the rush?
57.
BRADLEY
It’s not just a drone. It’s
tracking us!
Pauline’s curiosity morphs into concern as she narrows her
eyes.
PAULINE
Bradley, what’s going on?
Bradley grabs her hand urgently, his face etched with fear.
BRADLEY
There’s something you don’t know
about me. I can’t explain now, but
we have to leave.
The drone gets closer, its buzzing growing louder. It hovers
menacingly, a camera visible beneath it. Pauline pulls away,
frustration and anxiety rising.
PAULINE
You’re not making any sense. Are
you in danger?
BRADLEY
Yes, but not just me. There’s a
security risk. Trust me!
He picks up a stick and throws it at the drone. It strikes a
propeller, sending the drone spiraling wildly, careening
toward them.
BRADELY (CONT'D)
Pauline, watch out!
They dive for cover as the drone crashes inches away from
them, skidding across the ground. Silence hangs between them,
hearts racing.
Before they can react, THE DRONE OPERATOR rushes over, eyes
wild with desperation. He charges for the drone but has to
pass Bradley and Pauline to get it. Bradley and Pauline rise
to their feet.
DRONE OPERATOR
Get out of my way.
Still in shock, Bradley and Pauline stare as the drone
operator's aggression flares. He lunges at Bradley, pinning
him to the ground in a fierce struggle. Bradley fights back,
trying to calm him, but the operator is driven by a wild need
to retrieve the drone.
58.
Pauline’s gaze darts around. Spotting a large stick nearby,
she grabs it and swings it with force, hitting the operator
over the head. He collapses on top of Bradley. With a shove,
Bradley manages to push the operator off, but the man sits
up, dazed and holding his head, clearly stunned.
PAULINE
Why were you following us?
Bradley’s anxiety peaks as he suspects the man might be a
paparazzi, and he rushes to defuse the situation.
BRADLEY
Let him go Pauline. No harm has
been done.
Pauline’s eyes widen in disbelief.
PAULINE
No. He attacked you, and I want
answers.
Determined, Pauline steps forward, stick raised menacingly.
The operator raises his hands in a desperate surrender.
DRONE OPERATER
Okay, I’ll tell you.
Bradley closes his eyes, bracing himself for the worst.
DRONE OPERATOR (CONT'D)
Jack Bain sent me to record your
movements and see who you’re with.
PAULINE
(angry, raising the
stick.)
You’re lying.
DRONE OPERATPR
He paid me $1,000.00. You’re
Pauline Newton, right? You own
Timeless Fashions? Look, I haven’t
broken any laws. I’ve got a wife
and kids. We need the money.
Please, just let me go.
Relief washes over Bradley as the situation unfolds. Pauline
glances at him, seeking his guidance. He simply shrugs,
unsure how to proceed.
PAULINE
You can go but you’re not taking
the drone.
59.
Without another word, Pauline marches over to the drone,
swinging the stick with fierce determination. She smashes it
to pieces, ensuring it’s beyond repair. The operator, seeing
the destruction and realizing his chances of recovery are
slim, scrambles to his feet and runs off into the distance.
Pauline gathers the broken parts of the drone, her expression
a mix of anger and resolve, and walks away, leaving behind
the chaos of the confrontation.
Pauline and Bradley step out of the car, the sun
glimmering off water droplets clinging to their skin,
remnants of their swim in the blue hole. Tension lingers in
the air, palpable and electric. Bradley yanks off his cap and
sunglasses, a barricade against the world. Pauline, eyes
sparkling with mischief, pulls two crabs from the trunk,
practically glowing with excitement as she hands them to a
passing WAITRESS.
The small restaurant is alive with energy—a cacophony of
laughter, clinking glasses, and the sharp scent of fresh fish
dancing against the more subdued aromas of sweat and
sunscreen. But the contrast in their moods is stark as they
approach the fishing booth.
BRADLEY
This place looks wild.
Pauline’s smile is quick yet brittle, her irritation barely
contained.
PAULINE
It's either charmingly traditional
dining or we cook our own “catch.”
Doesn’t that sound much more...
authentic?
Their disparate expectations hover between them, thick like
the humidity.
47 EXT. ISLAND BREEZE RESTAURANT PATIO - DAY 47
The patio buzzes; cheers erupt as Pauline reels in a fish,
her grin radiant.
60.
Bradley hollers in support, but as he notices some tourists
staring, his smile falters, discomfort washing over him like
cold water.
PAULINE
(sensing the unease)
Let’s grab a table.
As they walk to their table, Bradley’s body language is
tense, his every step heavy with self-consciousness. A
WAITRESS brings their drinks, eyeing Bradley with a mix of
curiosity and recognition.
PAULINE
Have you been here before?
He shakes his head, trying to brush off the tension, but it
coils tighter, a living thing gnawing at him. Pauline forces
a smile, her heart pounding with the fear that the connection
they were building is slipping away.
MOMENTS LATER
As they dig into their salads, the WAITER arrives, placing
their main course down—the crabs cooked in the middle of the
peas and rice.
WAITER
Hi Pauline. Enjoy.
Bradley's face twists in revulsion as he spots the crabs,
repulsion flaring in the way his hands clench against the
table.
BRADLEY
I can't eat roadside crabs.
In an impulsive act to bridge the divide, Pauline boldly
shoves a spoonful of rice into his mouth. He's taken aback,
surprise wrestling with bitterness.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
Wow, this is... actually amazing.
So, we’re really eating fish and
crabs you just caught?
He tries to shake off the unease.
PAULINE
Absolutely. The chef grows veggies
right across the street. This is
the Andros way.
61.
BRADLEY
Incredible—and delicious!
Bradley nods, trying to ease into the experience, but his
eyes catch a GROUP OF TEENAGERS who have recognized him. They
wave excitedly, one even calls out.
TEENAGER
Yo, Bradley!
Instantly, Bradley tenses, pulling his sunglasses further
down his face as Pauline’s brow furrows. She glances at the
growing curiosity around them.
PAULINE
Do you know them?
He shakes his head, anxiety flaring like wildfire under his
skin.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Maybe they think you’re someone
else... It happens, you know.
The noise grows louder, more people recognizing Bradley.
Their phones are out, whispers escalating into a crescendo.
The growing crowd makes Pauline’s face flush with
embarrassment and concern.
MOMENTS LATER
Almost done with their plates, Pauline notices Bradley gazing
beyond her, lost in thought—a wave of silence washing over
them. The adrenaline that bound them now faded, leaving raw
vulnerability.
BRADLEY
This was a good call. Beats the
usual tourist traps.
PAULINE
Funny thing is, I picked this place
because I thought you wouldn’t like
it.
Pauline subtly shifts in her seat, her tone carrying a hint
of something unspoken. Bradley notices, his expression
softening as an unspoken understanding passes between them.
BRADLEY
I needed this break. Thank you.
62.
Relief washes over him, warmth unfolding in his gaze as
Pauline’s hand gently covers his, speaking a language beyond
words.
PAULINE
You seem more at ease now.
BRADLEY
It feels... easier, with you.
Just then, a loud CRASH erupts from the kitchen—dishes
clattering, followed by shouts. The crowd’s curiosity peaks,
a wave of whispers and flashes intensifying. Pauline glances
anxiously towards the kitchen, where the commotion continues.
The air thickens with unease.
Suddenly, MORE TOURISTS gather, phones out, whispers rising
like a tide.
As Bradley reaches for his wallet, Pauline flashes a playful
grin, pointing at the “CASH ONLY” sign.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
No worries, I've got this.
He stands, assuming a charming smile, but a gravity lingers
in his demeanor.
MOMENTS LATER
Pauline gazes out at the ocean, feeling the weight of
unspoken emotions as she notices Bradley approaching.
BRADLEY
Hey, wait, don’t leave yet, we have
to wash the dishes.
Pauline folds her arms, a teasing smirk playing on her lips.
PAULINE
I could just disappear right now.
They lock eyes, laughter bubbling beneath the surface,
breaking through the heaviness.
BRADLEY
Come on, it’ll be fun!
Pauline chuckles as she loops her arm through his, her
playful spirit igniting warmth between them.
PAULINE

48 INT. ISLAND BREEZE RESTAURANT KITCHEN - DAY 48
The kitchen hums with activity. The air is thick with the
smell of sizzling fish and grilled wild boar. Pauline and
Bradley enter, and the kitchen STAFF fall silent, eyes wide.
RHONDA, the Chef’s face is inches away from Bradley’s. She
freezes. A whispered gasp travels through the room.
PAULINE
Rhonda. Are you okay?
The Chef pops back to reality. Bradley steps behind Pauline,
gesturing subtly for the staff to keep his identity a secret.
Pauline’s smile falters as she catches the unease in his
expression.
A pot bubbles ominously on the stove, steam swirling upward.
BRADLEY
Have you spent your whole life
here, in Andros?
PAULINE
Mostly. I dream of managing a
fishing lodge here, but my parents
want me to take over the family
business.
BRADLEY
What if I told you that I’m staying
at a gorgeous lodge? You’d fit
right in.
PAULINE
If only. I’d need to start small,
gain more experience first.
Nervous laughter from the staff breaks the tension, but the
CHEF suddenly shouts from across the kitchen.
CHEF
Keep an eye on that pot! It’s
bubbling!
The pot begins to boil aggressively, unnoticed by the
star-struck KITCHEN STAFF, while their playful banter draws
them closer.
64.
BRADLEY
Is that really your dream, or is it
just an escape from expectations?
Pauline looks at him, her guard slipping for a moment.
Vulnerability flashes in her eyes, beneath her bravado.
PAULINE
It’s both. But the more I think
about it, the more I worry I’ll end
up stuck… like I always do.
As their chemistry crackles, they share a moment of playful
intimacy. Bradley leans in, tentative but hopeful, aiming for
a kiss. Suddenly, uncertainty clouds Pauline’s features.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Are you really trying to kiss me?
Bradley pauses, then decides to be candid.
BRADLEY
Look, it's me, Bradley Jackson.
Women don’t say no to me.
Fleeting bravado gives way to an unexpected shift as
Bradley kisses her. Pauline pulls back, surprised.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
That’s for showing me a great time.
The spark of attraction clashes with annoyance; she looks
at him, confusion washing over her.
PAULINE
And that's for presuming too much.
His eyes widen in genuine shock.
BRADLEY
Is it just me, or do you have a
problem with all men?
PAULINE
Just you.
With a lingering smile, she turns away, frustration and
attraction entwined. Suddenly, she notices the pot boiling
over.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Hey, that pot! It’s going to—
65.
Before she can finish, the pot erupts, spewing its contents
into a hot frying pan. Flames shoot up dangerously, igniting
a panic in the kitchen.
CHEF
(frantically shouting)
Everyone, get out.
Pauline scrambling to escape, turns back to see Bradley
struggling with a fire extinguisher. The Kitchen staff exit.
PAULINE
Bradley, we need to go!
BRADLEY
Not until this fire is out!
Bradley dislodges the fire extinguisher, working with the
Chef to battle the flames. The fire alarm blares, smoke
filling the room thickly, choking the air.
CHEF
(through coughing)
We have to contain it before it
engulfs the building!
Chaos erupts. Smoke fills the air, reducing visibility.
Bradley gives Pauline a frantic look, handing her the
extinguisher.
BRADLEY
Point it directly at the flame.
As he exits the kitchen in a flash, Pauline begins spraying
wildly, heart racing. The Chef and Pauline's efforts are
matched by the growing ferocity of the flames. The lights
flicker above, a dangerous spark emitting from a scalding
light fixture. A moment of struggle unfolds—Pauline’s
determination sharpens her focus as she fights against the
chaos, exerting all her will to contain the inferno.
Just then, Bradley bursts back into the kitchen wielding a
hose. Pauline's grip slips as the extinguisher protests under
the strain, but they spring into action—together, they douse
the flames, steam erupting in a wild crescendo. Silence
washes over the kitchen when the flames finally surrender.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
Is everyone Okay?
The Chef and Pauline nod, their faces smeared with soot and
sweat. The intensity of the moment leaves them breathless,
but they share a relieved smile.
66.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
I don’t think I’ve ever been that
scared before. Y’all were amazing.
CHEF
Thank you both for your help. You
saved this restaurant from
Disaster.
The trio shares a group hug. Pauline catches Bradley's gaze,
admiration flickering in her eyes.
PAULINE
Maybe we should be a team more
often.
BRADLEY
(grinning)
With a little less fire, I hope.
They share a laugh, the absurdity of the moment breaking
through the tension—drenched but alive. Their smiles linger,
heavy with unspoken feelings, the air now electric with a
different kind of spark.

Fleeting Moments
49 EXT. ISLAND BREEZE PARKING LOT - DAY 49
Sunlight blankets the parking lot, but the warmth does little
to soothe the tension crackling between Bradley and Pauline
as they step from the restaurant. Exhaustion and exhilaration
war with the underlying fear from the chaos they just
escaped.
BRADLEY
(looking at Pauline with
admiration)
That was beyond intense. Seriously,
you ran into the flames like it was
no big deal. When everyone else was
paralyzed, you grabbed that
extinguisher like a pro—you didn’t
just save the restaurant, you saved
lives, Pauline. You have no idea
how much that means.
A quiet moment settles between them as Pauline softens, pride
warring with the vulnerability she tries to hide.
67.
PAULINE
Someone had to step up. Who knew I
had the makings of a firefighter?
(then, trying to deflect,
with a forced smile)
And... maybe you’re more than just
a pretty face after all.
Their laughter mingles with the warm afternoon air, but it’s
laced with the tension of what remains unsaid. Bradley opens
the car door for her, their hands brushing—an electric jolt
that sends a shiver down Pauline’s spine, intensifying the
moment.
BRADLEY
About earlier... the kiss. It
wasn’t my intention to make it
weird. I just—
The moment stretches, Pauline’s smile faltering as the weight
of his words sinks in. The parking lot, once full of
laughter, now feels heavy with unspoken emotions.
PAULINE
(quietly, avoiding his
gaze)
It’s fine. Let’s just forget it
happened.
BRADLEY
No, I can't forget. If I don’t tell
you that you’re special to me, I’ll
regret it forever. I can’t let this
chance slip away, Pauline.
Pauline’s gaze drifts, her internal struggle evident.
Memories of laughter by the creek, the shared fears, the
sense of something deeper—all swirl in her mind, making her
heart race with indecision.
PAULINE
But… it has to be more than just a
moment.
Bradley steps closer, his sincerity cutting through her
defenses.
BRADLEY
Then let’s find out. What do you
look for in a guy, Pauline?
68.
She meets his gaze, a glimmer of intrigue returning, but the
weight of her unspoken fears lingers.
PAULINE
Someone who can fish.
Laughter bursts forth from her, lightening the tension
momentarily, but the vulnerability lingers beneath the
surface.
BRADLEY
Well then, teach me. I’ll pay.
PAULINE
$500 for the day.
He nods, the determination in his eyes sending a thrill
through her.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
I’ll skip lunch tomorrow so I can
get off at 4 pm. Meet me at
Tranquility Dock, 4:30 pm. That
gives us 3 1/2 hours of sunlight.
Just as the moment deepens, Bradley’s expression shifts to
urgent concern. His gaze sharpens as he notices a swarm of
fans and paparazzi converging from across the lot, their
shouts growing louder.
BRADLEY
(eyes widening, voice
urgent)
We need to leave—now!
Startled, Pauline quickly slides into the driver’s seat while
Bradley jumps in beside her. The sounds of clicking cameras
and shouting fans grow nearer, an ever-present reminder of
the world trying to tear them apart.
PAPARAZZI 1
Bradley over here!
BRADLEY
Drive, and don’t look back. Focus
on the road!
Pauline revs the engine, the car roaring to life as she
speeds away, dust and dirt swirling behind them, momentarily
blocking out the chaos. Her heart pounds in her chest, a mix
of adrenaline and fear tightening her grip on the steering
wheel. She glances at Bradley, the pressure of their
situation pressing down on her.
69.
If she doesn’t act on her feelings soon, she might lose him
to the very world they’re fleeing from.
BRADLEY
(whispering)
That was a close call!
As they race down the road, the sounds of distant shouts
fade. Turning one last time to steal a glance at Bradley, she
feels the weight of the unspoken between them.

From Intimacy to Unexpected Laughter
50 EXT. PAULINE’S HOUSE - DAY 50
Bradley and Pauline stand by her front door, the weight of
their earlier adventures hanging in the air between them. A
gentle breeze rustles the leaves, but the charged silence
speaks volumes.
BRADLEY
I’ve never had so much drama packed
into one day before.
PAULINE
(smiling faintly)
I think I’d agree with that.
BRADLEY
(smiling, but with a
shadow of intensity)
There’s something about today
that’s... changed me. Being with
you, it’s like I’m seeing
everything in a different light.
Bradley’s smile is warm but carries a shadow of intensity. He
steps closer, their hands brushing. He leans in, his eyes
dark and searching. Just before their lips meet, he
hesitates, his internal conflict clear. Pauline holds her
breath, her gaze a mix of anticipation and anxiety.
Their lips finally touch in a kiss that’s both soft and
electric. Pauline pulls away first, a flicker of conflict in
her eyes.
PAULINE
(softly, looking down)
I felt it too, but I’m worried this
might be moving too fast. You’re a
tourist, and I’m scared this might
just be a momentary spark,
something that fades away when you
leave.
70.
BRADLEY
Pauline, there’s... there’s a lot
more going on with me than you
know. I’m not just passing through.
Something brought me here, and...
it’s bigger than either of us.
Pauline’s eyes widen, a mix of concern and curiosity.
PAULINE
What are you trying to say?
BRADLEY
I can’t explain it all right now,
but meeting you has brought a
clarity I wasn’t expecting. It’s as
if everything has suddenly become
more real. I’m afraid that if I try
to put it into words, I might risk
losing this... whatever this is
between us.
Pauline’s breath hitches, her emotions tangled between
intrigue and doubt.
PAULINE
Bradley, I have no idea what you’re
talking about, but when you figure
it out, let me know.
She offers a hesitant smile, steps back, and opens the door.
As it closes, her expression lingers—torn between fear and
longing. A single tear escapes her eye as she slips inside.
Bradley watches the door close, his face a mask of intensity
and unresolved tension. He glances at his phone, his thoughts
a storm of uncertainty. The weight of his unspoken truths
presses heavily on him, leaving him grappling with the
fragile connection he has just revealed.
51 INT. BONEFISH BOAT IN MOTION - DAY 51
Cut to Bradley and Pauline, their faces now bright with the
thrill of the day ahead, as they navigate from the concrete
dock to the small flat-bottomed bonefish boat. Backpacks
slung over shoulders, fishing gear clutched firmly,
they step aboard, the boat bobbing gently in the crystalline
water.
71.
MOMENTS LATER
The sunlit North Bight stretches ahead, a tranquil expanse of
shallow water with gentle waves lapping at the white sandy
beaches. Side by side, Bradley and Pauline fish, their
camaraderie growing as they steal glances at each other
between casts.
BRADLEY
This place feels like Paradise.
Pauline smiles, casting her line with practiced ease. She
reels in a catch effortlessly, glancing at him, a moment of
shared excitement.
PAULINE
And I can clean it, cook it, and
serve you breakfast in bed too.
(realizing)
Not that I mean you, specifically.
The slip in her words betrays her vulnerability; they lock
eyes, and Bradley’s heart races, sensing the tug of
sincerity.
BRADLEY
Thanks for this. I’m going
bonefishing on Tuesday with the
Prime Minister, and I want to look
like I know what I’m doing.
PAULINE
The Prime Minister?
BRADLEY
Yeah. He invited me to Behring
Point-”Bonefishing capital of the
world”.
PAULINE
Fancy company. If I’d known, I’d
have charged you more.
Bradley's fishing rod suddenly bends sharply; the line whips
taut.
BRADLEY
This one’s a fighter.
PAULINE
You’ve got this!
Bradley struggles but finally hauls the fish aboard, a mix of
relief and excitement on his face, which soon turns to shock.
72.
BRADLEY
It’s-a shark!
Carefully removing the shark from the boat, he turns back to
Pauline, the thrill of the catch palpable between them.
MOMENTS LATER
As Bradley steers the boat toward the calm shores of a nearby
island, the warm sun paints the scene in bright hues,
reflecting their growing connection amid the uncertainty.
PAULINE
(playfully)
Just think, if we can handle a
shark together, we can tackle
anything, right?
He grins, their shared glance a silent promise, their bond
solidifying with every passing wave.
The serene atmosphere shatters with a thunderous shotgun
blast. Bradley and Pauline drop to the deck, eyes wide with
fear. Another shotgun blast echoes across the water, closer
this time.
BRADLEY
What the—stay low!
They exchange panicked glances as the menacing roar of an
approaching speedboat grows louder. The boat cuts through the
water, closing in on them with terrifying speed.
PAULINE
(frowning, breathless)
That’s not a boat I recognize from
around here.
Bradley’s face hardens. He quickly gauges their dire
situation, then springs into action, starting their boat’s
engine. He slams the throttle, sending them racing across the
water. But the other boat, its engine a beastly growl,
rapidly closes the gap.
BRADLEY
(grimly)
We’re not gonna outrun them. We
need to stop and see what they
want.
PAULINE
(desperate, pleading)
No! Don’t stop—just go faster!
73.
Pauline’s heart pounds in her chest, fear pulsing through her
veins. The tension is suffocating as the other boat looms
closer, a predator chasing its prey.
BRADLEY
This is as fast as we can go!
Pauline, gripping the edge of the boat, dares to stand and
look back. Her eyes narrow as she spots the unmarked boat—no
registration, no flags. Two men, faces obscured by shadows
and sunglasses, stand menacingly with shotguns aimed.
PAULINE
(voice trembling)
That boat has no markings... and
they’re armed.
Their boat shudders as the speedboat bumps into them, nearly
throwing them overboard. Bradley and Pauline exchange a
terrified look, their survival instinct kicking in. They
slowly raise their hands in a gesture of surrender, but their
eyes dart around, searching for any means of escape.
One of the men leaps onto their boat with practiced
aggression. Bradley and Pauline grimace as they feel his
weight added to the boat. The other man, still on the
speedboat, keeps his weapon ready, eyes cold and calculating.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Turn around you two.
Bradley and Pauline glance at each other, their fear
palpable. Pauline's breathing quickens, her mind racing.
Then, a flicker of recognition crosses her face, her eyes
widening in disbelief.
PAULINE
(half-whisper, stunned)
Roy...?
She stares at the man’s silhouette, the familiarity sinking
in. A nervous laugh escapes her lips, breaking the tension.
She suddenly pulls Bradley’s hand down, turning to face the
man.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
(louder, incredulous)
Roy? You nearly gave us a heart
attack.
The man removes his sunglasses, revealing a familiar
face—Officer Roy Mackey. He grins, though it does little to
calm the tension.
74.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Bradley meet my demented cousin,
Officer Roy Mackey.
Roy grins broadly, pulling Pauline into a big hug before
giving Bradley a firm handshake. Bradley, still catching his
breath from the shock, forces a smile.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Gillian will kill me if I don’t get
your autograph Mr Jackson!
The OTHER FISHERMAN, now relaxed, opens a zip-lock bag, tears
a page from a book, and hands it along with a pencil to Roy.
Roy passes it to Bradley, who nervously signs it.
BRADLEY
Why did you fire at us?
Officer Mackey laughs, waving off the concern.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Fire at you? No, man, we were
shooting sharks for the grill
tonight. You know that’s the
sweetest meat in the world, right?
Pauline frowns, her voice stern.
PAULINE
Roy, you know it’s illegal to harm
sharks in the Bahamas.
Roy’s grin fades as he raises his hands in mock surrender.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Come on, Pauline, don’t turn me in.
You two should come to dinner
tonight. We’ll make it worth your
while.
The other man on the boat, now relaxed, eagerly extend his
hands to shake Bradley’s, clearly thrilled to meet the
celebrity.
PAULINE
(eyeing the speedboat)
Whose boat is this?
Roy shrugs, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.
75.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
It was impounded some time back.
You didn’t think I’d harm sharks in
my own boat, did you?
Bradley and Pauline exchange a look as the adrenaline from
the encounter slowly ebbs away, replaced by a mix of relief
and amusement.
PAULINE
(smirking)
Just another day in paradise right?
BRADLEY
(grinning)
With a side of shark conservation.
They all share a laugh as the tension finally breaks, turning
the unexpected encounter into a bizarre but memorable
adventure.

52 EXT. BIG WOOD CAY BEACH - DAY 52
The sun casts a golden glow over the beach. Pauline sheds her
shirt and pants, revealing a vibrant swimsuit, her excitement
palpable. She runs toward the shore, casting a glance back at
Bradley, who watches her, captivated yet distracted by a
brief worry displayed in his eyes as he glances at his phone.
Bradley adjusts Pauline's swimsuit strap, their fingers
brushing together, igniting a spark. They stroll along the
water's edge, the crashing waves creating a soothing
symphony. Bradley hands Pauline a shimmering seashell, which
she accepts with a bright, beaming smile.
They frolic in the water, laughter mingling with the waves.
Pauline playfully shoves Bradley, sending him splashing into
the water. He catches up, drawing her close in a tender
embrace.
BRADLEY
You light up my world.
PAULINE
And you bring the fun.
As they return to the boat, a sense of calm envelops them.
Pauline's gaze lingers on the waves, turning pensive as she
catches sight of the horizon—its beauty juxtaposed with her
growing knot of anxiety over the swift passage of time.
Suddenly, Bradley’s cellphone vibrates, breaking the moment.
He checks it, his expression shifting to concern. His face
tightens in regret..

BRADLEY
Tony, I see a missed call. This
briefing was supposed to be a
minor detail... I hope everything's
okay.
TONY (FILTER)
Bradley, check your messages and
the schedule. This briefing has
been planned for days.
Panic sets in as Bradley turns to Pauline, his face a mix of
duty and regret.
PAULINE
What’s wrong?
BRADLEY
Tony scheduled a press conference,
and I missed his text. I have to
leave right now. I'm sorry,
Pauline.
Pauline’s smile falters, the bright light fading from her
eyes. She instinctively shifts away from him, her fingers
fidgeting with the edge of her shirt, a silent wind
carrying her unspoken feelings.
PAULINE
I need to process this. Thank you
for today, Bradley.
Bradley nods, understanding the weight of the moment. He
plants a gentle kiss on her cheek, his hand lingering as he
revs up the engine. The boat starts to move away, Pauline
look back at the shoreline as it’s distance grows.
Pauline stares out at the ocean as the boat glides away, the
sound of waves crashing against it echoing her vulnerability,
her lips quirk into a tight, forced grin that fails to mask
her disappointment.
53 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 53
Pauline enters, her clothes damp, fishing gear slung over her
shoulder. Paul and Rachel huddle anxiously on the couch,
Rachel’s fingers drum nervously on "The Andros Chronicles,"
her face taut with worry.
PAUL
How was fishing with Bradley?
Pauline pauses, her expression guarded, takes a step back.
77.
PAULINE
Eventful, to say the least.
Paul and Rachel share a knowing look, embracing each other.
PAUL
Pauline, we've decided against the
adoption. We'll wait until you're
ready to start your own family.
Pauline playfully spanks her dad's arm before making her
exit. Paul and Rachel lock eyes and share a hug.
PAUL
You know I’m naming my grandson
after me, right?
RACHEL
You’re naming the child?
Rachel’s eyes snap to the newspaper, her breath catching as
she grips it tightly. Paul’s gaze follows hers, his eyes
widening at the headline, “Hollywood Actor Visits Andros,”
prominently featuring Bradley’s photo.
RACHEL (CONT'D)
Paul, this is disastrous. If
Pauline sees this, she'll end it
with him. She hates the spotlight.
We need to keep it from her—no
newspapers, no TV—until we’re sure
she's in love with him.
Panic ensues as Rachel tears out the newspaper section with
Bradley’s photo, her movements erratic and hurried. Paul
frantically removes the batteries from the remote and throws
them aside.
54 EXT. TIMELESS FASHIONS PARKING LOT - DAY 54
Jack Bain exits his vehicle as the thunderous roar of a

as the machine inches toward the store. Jack looks at his

A police siren blares. Officer Roy Mackey’s patrol car skids
to a stop. He approaches Jack.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Stop this now. The Court issued a
cease and desist order.
JACK BAIN
(enraged, eyes flashing)
Show me the court order!
Clement arrives, exits his vehicle, immediately start
sweating as he sees Jack, hesitates, then rushes to Officer
Roy Mackey, handing him the cease and desist order.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Mr Bain, here’s the order from the

Jack’s anger flares, he gestures for a sidebar with Clement.
JACK BAIN

CLEMENT

If I hadn’t intervened, Pauline

Clement nods his understanding, then saunters over to

CELESTE
Pauline, why didn’t you tell us

PAULINE
Because I didn't want to seem weak.
Portia steps closer and places a reassuring hand on Pauline’s
arm.
PORTIA

Suddenly, a tense silence falls. Pauline’s phone buzzes on
the counter, breaking the moment. She glances at the caller
ID—Clement. Her expression tightens with concern.
PAULINE
Sorry, I need to take this.
She answers the call, her voice steady but urgent.
PAULINE
Hey Clement. What’s up?

Celeste and Portia watch her leave, their faces reflecting

Pauline hurries toward Clement’s car, clutching her handbag

her face is a mix of exhaustion and a fleeting sense of

Pauline studies him, a frown creasing her brow.
PAULINE

There’s a mixture of gratitude and desperation in her touch.
PAULINE
I’m sorry for doubting you,
Clement. It’s just... my nerves.
Thank you, for everything.
She slowly pulls away, her movements stiff as she opens the
car door. As she steps out, she glances back at him, her eyes
filled with conflicting emotions. Just then, she catches
sight of Jack Bain exiting the courthouse. Their eyes lock,
and a chill runs down her spine as Jack’s frown deepens.
Unaware of this, Clement starts the car, glancing around
nervously before driving off.
57 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 57
Paul and Rachel sit on the couch, worry etched on their
faces. Paul pulls a torn newspaper clipping from his pocket.
Rachel looks at him, senses his concern.
RACHEL
You’ve seem distant.
84.
PAUL
I’ve just got a lot on my mind. The
store, Pauline…
RACHEL
(sighs)
It’s always about
The store or Pauline. What about
us? What about me?
Paul shifts uncomfortably.
PAUL
We’re doing fine. You’re just—
RACHEL
I’m tired of being sidelined, Paul.
I need more from this life.
PAUL
What are you saying?
RACHEL
I need space to grow, just like you
do. We can’t keep living like this.
It’s about finding balance. Let’s
work on this together.
PAUL
Okay. We’ll try.
Paul smiles, goes back to reviewing the Newspaper clipping.
Pauline approaches, her footsteps almost silent.
Pauline accidentally knocks over the telephone on a nearby
table, startling her parents. Paul and Rachel jump. Rachel
clutches her chest while Paul tries to hide the clipping, but
misses his pocket.
PAULINE
What’s that you’re hiding? Is it a
story about Jack Bain?
PAUL
Pauline! You shouldn't sneak up on
people like that. Look how you've
frightened your mother.
Pauline’s eyes narrow as she sits down on the couch,
her suspicion growing. Paul and Rachel exchange worried
glances. Pauline spots the newspaper clipping sticking out
of Paul’s pocket. She snatches it. Paul and Rachel lunge
for it, the paper tearing with a loud rip.
85.
Rachel clutches her half, eyes wide, while Paul shoves his
half deeper into his pocket.
Pauline’s frustration mounts, her face a mix of hurt
and anger.
PAULINE
What’s the latest?
RACHEL
We’ve hired a Surveyor to double-
check the plot plan bearings, and
we’ve brought in another attorney
since Clement’s tied up.
Pauline's interest sharpens, her mind races.
PAULINE
(musing)
He said he’s tied up?
Rachel’s curiosity is piqued.
RACHEL
(eyeing Pauline curiously)
I didn’t realize you and Clement
were so close.
Pauline, momentarily thrown off balance, hesitates, her
response tinged with uncertainty and a hint of possibility.
PAULINE
It's not like that, we're just good
friends. But who knows?
Paul and Rachel exchange knowing looks.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Why is Jack Bain so hostile towards
us? He just shows up and now he
owns everything in Behring Point?
RACHEL
Jack Bain – he's part of our past.
PAUL
We're handling it, Pauline. Trust
us. Don’t worry about it.
PAULINE
I can’t trust you! Jack Bain was in
court today, to get the Cease and
Desist order lifted. Luckily
Clement found out and stopped him.
86.
Pauline's anger erupts as she storms out of the living room,
enters her bedroom, slams the door. Paul and Rachel gaze at
each other feeling both relieved and bewildered.

Torn Between Two Worlds
58 EXT. DRIFTWOOD RESTAURANT - DAY 58
The salty breeze dances past Celeste's skin, carrying with
it the scent of fried fish, laced with bittersweet memories
of summers long past. She watches her children, HERMAN and
STACEY, a whirlwind of laughter and energy around a weathered
wooden table. The soothing waves wash ashore, their familiar
rhythm a comforting backdrop.
Tony strolls over in vibrant shorts and a casual T-shirt, a
smile blooming as he spots Celeste. But the sight of him
sends a ripple of uncertainty through her.
TONY
Celeste, what a surprise.
Celeste looks up, her heart skipping at the warmth in his
voice. She glances at her phone—missed call from Jeff. A knot
forms in her chest, signaling that everything is about to
change.
CELESTE
Tony. No tablet today?
TONY
Bradley decided to extend his
break, so I finally got some time
off.
Celeste studies Tony's relaxed demeanor, a flicker of
attraction sparking within her. But guilt washes over her as
she recalls Jeff’s hopeful smile on their last beach day, his
hands wrapped around hers as they laughed at the kids
splashing in the water.
CELESTE
It’s good to see you... outside of
work. This place suits you.
Tony's gaze lingers, a hint of admiration mingled with
caution marking the unspoken tension between them.
TONY
The scent of fried fish and good
company—it’s a winning combination.
How have you been?
87.
Celeste glances back at her children, their laughter a stark
contrast to her internal conflict.
CELESTE
Busy, as always. The beach has been
a rescue lately. You should try the
crack conch; it’s the best.
TONY
I’ll take your word for it. How
about a beach picnic sometime?
The suggestion ricochets in her mind, tugging at her heart.
Memories of a sunny day with Jeff wash over her, the
laughter, the joy—moments she can't afford to lose.
CELESTE
I... I can’t. I’m dating someone.
Tony raises an eyebrow, his look playful yet probing.
TONY
Didn’t you tell Mr. Jackson
something a little different not
too long ago?
Celeste's breath hitches. The weight of her own words
collides with the reality unfolding between them.
CELESTE
That was... it was nothing more
than playful banter caught up in
the moment.
Tony's face softens, but his tone sharpens with unspoken
challenges.
TONY
Nothing more, huh?
Before Celeste can think, she notices Jeff approaching, a
specter of anxiety looming over her heart. His eyes dart
between her and Tony, blending surprise with something
darker.
JEFF
Celeste, what’s taking so long?
She forces a smile, masking the flood of tension within her.
CELESTE
Jeff, this is Tony. We were just
catching up.
88.
Jeff's fists tighten at his sides, his mind racing,
insecurities spilling over.
JEFF
(to Tony)
As you can see, she is taken.
A charged silence envelops them. Tony meets Jeff's gaze,
tension crackling in the air like a lit fuse.
Jeff storms off, his footsteps heavy with unspoken fears, a
running commentary echoing in his mind—he’s terrified of
losing Celeste, just like he lost others before.
CELESTE (V.O.)
What is happening here?
Her stomach twists as she feels the weight of that thought,
torn between a love that feels like it’s slipping away and
a dangerously enticing spark with Tony.
CELESTE (CONT'D)
I’m really sorry about that.
(pauses, looking down)
We love fishing right off the dock
here. If you ever find yourself...
TONY
I will definitely be there.
They exchange numbers, and in that fleeting moment, a jolt of
connection passes between them, electric and undeniable. The
blare of Jeff’s car horn shatters the moment, pulling her
back. The quiet promise flickers in the air, and they share
one last look, holding onto the tension of what could be.
TONY (CONT'D)
Take care, Celeste.
CELESTE (V.O.)
What am I doing?
Jeff returns, angry and frustrated.
JEFF
Let's go, Celeste.
Celeste hesitates, the weight of the moment pressing down on
her. But before she can speak, Jeff grabs her hand, pulling
her forcefully. The sudden movement causes her plate to tilt,
sending her food crashing to the ground. The children scream,
startled by the sudden chaos.
89.
Tony instinctively steps forward, his protective instincts
flaring.
TONY
Hey, Jeff, take it easy—
But Celeste quickly raises her hand, her eyes locking onto
Tony’s with silent desperation. She pleads with him not to
escalate the situation.
Jeff pulls her along, his grip unrelenting as he drags her
towards the car. The children’s cries echo through the air,
blending with the crash of waves as Celeste is forced to
leave everything behind—her dignity, her peace, and perhaps a
part of herself.
She glances back just once, her eyes filled with a sorrow
that pierces Tony's heart. And then she’s gone, disappearing
into the car, leaving behind a world of tension and
unresolved emotions.
Tony stands frozen, watching the car speed away. The weight
of what just happened lingers heavily in the air, the
emotional stakes rising as Tony grapples with his own
helplessness. The wind swirls around him, carrying the echoes
of a connection that now feels more fragile than ever.

Tension at Tranquility Hill
59 EXT. NEWTON’S HOUSE - DAY 59
Pauline forces a nervous smile as she pulls out her
cellphone, dialing with trembling fingers while striding
toward the house. A bead of sweat trickles down her
forehead, her heart pounding in her chest.
PAULINE
Cottage please.
A mix of emotions flickers across her face. She bites her
lip, anxiety creeping in, then forces a smile, shyly covering
her face with a hand, a self-soothing gesture.
60 INT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE COTTAGE - DAY 60
Bradley stands before a mirror, his confident exterior
showing hints of vulnerability beneath his polished image.
He adjusts his shirt, glancing at his phone, hesitating.
A knock at the door pulls him from his thoughts. He opens
it to reveal Portia, who enters with an air of intimacy.
90.
PORTIA
You didn’t call, so I figured I’d
check in on you.
Bradley’s surprise quickly shifts to disapproval, his brow
furrowed. He glances at his persistent ringing phone.
BRADLEY
How did you even get past Security?
Portia saunters in, closing the door.
PORTIA
I told them I was covering a story
for the press. They let me in.
BRADLEY
Someone's getting fired.
Frustrated, he answers the ringing phone.
BRADLEY
Hello.
PAULINE
Hi. This is Pauline.
Portia's brow arches, irritation flashing across her face.
Bradley’s tension eases a bit as he hears Pauline’s voice.
BRADLEY
Pauline. How are you?
PAULINE (FILTER)
Busy with work, you?
Portia sidles over, a possessive smile on her lips,
trying to reclaim his attention. He frowns slightly.
BRADLEY
I thought you’d forgotten. Want to
come over for dinner? I promise
I'll have cash this time.
Portia suddenly leans in and kisses Bradley, catching him
off guard. He instinctively pushes her away, her momentum
nearly toppling her off balance.
PAULINE
I heard smacking. Sounds like
you’re already having dinner.
91.
BRADLEY
No. Can you come over now?
PAULINE
I just got home. Give me a sec
to freshen up. How's 6:30?
BRADLEY
Perfect. See you then.
A moment of quiet tension before Bradley turns sharply to
Portia, gripping her arm and ejecting her from the room,
slamming the door behind her.
61 EXT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE PARKING LOT - DAY 61
Pauline's car pulls into the parking lot. Her hands grip
the steering wheel tightly, knuckles pale as she steps out,
her nervous scan of the surroundings betraying her anxiety.
62 EXT. TRANQUILITY HILL SECURITY CHECK POINT - DAY 62
Approaching the lodge, tension washes over Pauline as
Security Guards converge around her. One, the LODGE
SECURITY, steps forward with steely authority.
LODGE SECURITY 1
May I help you Ma'am?
PAULINE
I’m Pauline Newton. Bradley Jackson
is expecting me at the cottage.
A tense silence fills the air as the lodge Security speaks
into his sleeve microphone, his expression unreadable.
LODGE SECURITY 1
ID and bag check, please.
With shaking hands, Pauline retrieves her Driver's License
from her handbag. The guard scrutinizes it before
returning it. She hands over her bag, which is inspected,
and then returned.
LODGE SECURITY 1 (CONT'D)
Thank you Ms Newton.
Suddenly, another LODGE SECURITY approaches with a frown.
92.
LODGE SECURITY 2
We've got a problem. An
unauthorized person got on to the
property. Have you seen anyone
suspicious?
Cold dread shoots through Pauline as a third LODGE SECURITY
positions himself nearby.
PAULINE
I’m leaving!
Clutching her bag to her chest, she backs away.
LODGE SECURITY 2
No. Please come with me. Mr Jackson
is expecting you.
PAULINE
What’s going on?
LODGE SECURITY 2
Just a precaution Ma’am.
Heart racing, Pauline follows the Lodge Security.
63 INT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE COTTAGE - DAY 63
Pauline steps inside, her eyes darting around the room
anxiously. TRACEY, well-dressed and composed, greets
her with a veneer of professionalism.
TRACEY
Welcome Ms. Newton. You’re a little
earlier than expected.
Pauline nods, her expression tight with unease.
TRACEY (CONT'D)
I’m Tracey Davis, Mr. Jackson’s
Personal Assistant. He’s still in a
meeting. Please, follow me.
She gestures for Pauline to sit down in a plush
sitting area.
TRACEY
Can I get you anything while you
wait?
93.
PAULINE
Just some answers. If he’s busy, I
can come back another time.
Tracey gestures that she’ll check on Bradley immediately.
64 INT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE PARLOUR - DAY 64
The parlour exudes elegance, adorned with fresh flowers.
Bradley and Tony sit relaxed in plush armchairs. Tracey
opens the door slightly.
TRACEY
Pauline is here.
She opens the door wider, inviting her in.
BRADLEY
Pauline, you've met Tracey,
and this is Tony, my manager.
Can you both give us a moment?
Tracey and Tony exit. Bradley moves toward Pauline,
greeting her with a warm embrace and a gentle kiss on
the cheek.
BRADLEY
I’ve been looking forward to seeing
you.
Pauline raises an eyebrow, sarcasm creeping in.
PAULINE
Oh, have you now?
BRADLEY
Absolutely. You're a breath of
fresh air.
Suddenly—CRASH! A door splinters violently nearby. They
exchange alarmed glances, tension tightening the air.
PAULINE
What was that?
BRADLEY
Don’t move. I’ll check it out.
Silence stretches taut as they process the disturbance.
Tony bursts in breathlessly, eyes darting.
94.
TONY
(frantic)
A fan…a fan broke through Security.
Bradley sharply gestures for Tony to tone it down.
TONY (CONT'D)
(panicking, quickly)
I mean, a ceiling fan… broke in the
room next door. It’s all under
control now.
Pauline's confusion and fear are clear as she glances around
the room, gripping Bradley’s arm tightly.
PAULINE
Sounded like a door got kicked in.
TONY
Just a little hiccup. Nothing to
worry about.
BRADLEY
Right, it sounds like nothing to
concern ourselves with. Thanks,
Tony.
(whispering to Tony)
Sort it out, find out how it
happened.
Tony nods, visibly anxious but compliant. As he steps
out, Bradley turns his full attention to Pauline,
striving to soothe her worries.

Well, look who decided to join us.
Everyone, this is Pauline. Let's
see if she can keep up with us.
Pauline steps further inside, her presence casting a shadow

Bradley laughs, but the laughter barely masks the tension in
the room.
TONY

Everything’s set, Bradley.
BRADLEY

67 EXT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE PARKING LOT - DAY 67

shielding them from a relentless press swarm eager for

Mr. Jackson, can you explain who
this woman is, or are you keeping
that a secret too?
PAPARAZZI 1

Is this sudden appearance with her

or just another PR stunt?
PAULINE
(irritated)
Seriously, this isn’t a game show.
Can we just get out of here?
TONY
We’re leaving now!
96.
Tony urges Pauline towards the SUV, her frustration boiling
over as she stumbles slightly and grips the door handle to
steady herself, shooting him a glare.
TONY
(firmly, to the press)
Mr. Jackson won’t be commenting
today.
The entourage drives off, leaving a chaos of rumors and
speculation in their wake.
68 INT. BRADLEY’S SUV - IN MOTION - DAY 68
The SUV is thick with unresolved tension. Outside, the sun
shines brightly, the sounds of laughter and nature
contrasting with the silence inside the vehicle.
Pauline stares out, fists clenched, her jaw tight.
BRADLEY
I’m an actor, Pauline. A well-known
one.
The words hang heavy in the air. Pauline’s eyes blaze,
disbelief radiating from her.
PAULINE
You were at Timeless Fashions,
weren’t you? This isn’t some
innocent mistake. Are you just
using me as a prop in your life?
A deep beat, his regret clashes with the rawness of her
accusation.
BRADLEY
No deception. And, yes, that
was me at the store. I thought
I was protecting you—thought we
could have something real without
the shadows of fame.
A flash of memory—Bradley’s laugh, their last kiss—makes her
flinch, a sudden wave of vulnerability washing over her as
she looks away.
PAULINE
Protecting me? By lying? Each
time I trusted you, opened myself
up? Do you have any idea how
humiliating that feels?
97.
BRADLEY
Pauline, I didn't mean to—
PAULINE
Spare me the excuses! Your
"secrecy" was a choice—a selfish
one! And suddenly you’re
enlightened? Unbelievable!
The SUV falls into heavy silence, allowing the tension to
linger. Bradley’s hand reaches out tentatively.
BRADLEY
Let’s try to resolve this. Let’s
have lunch and clear the air.
Pauline’s eyes reflect a battlefield of emotions; her
decision is resolute.
PAULINE
I want to be dropped off now. This
is beyond unacceptable.
Bradley’s face hardens; he exchanges a grave look with Tony.
TONY
(quietly aware)
It’s best you let her breathe for a
moment, Brad.
The SUV redirects sharply, tension crackling in the air.
69 EXT. TRANQUILITY HILL LODGE DRIVEWAY - DAY 69
The SUV screeches to a halt at the circular driveway.
PAULINE
This has been a disaster from start
to finish.
BRADLEY
Allow me to fix it.
PAULINE
I don’t think so. Trust is not
something you can just repair.
Desperation flickers in Bradley’s gaze as he reaches for her
hand, but she pulls away, grabbing her handbag.
98.
BRADLEY
Please, don’t leave like this. We
can work through this.
With a shaky breath, she hesitates, memories of their
blissful moments tugging at her.
PAULINE
Goodbye Bradley.
BRADLEY
Pauline.
Pauline exits the SUV, leaving Bradley filled with regret.
70 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 70
Pauline bursts into the room, hurling her handbag onto the
couch and cutting off Paul and Rachel’s dance mid-step.
PAULINE
Bradley is a fake! He’s an Actor,
he lies and he's so full of
himself. I thought I knew him.
Rachel steps back, concern etched on her face.
RACHEL
You're in love with him, aren't
you?
Pauline releases a heart-wrenching wail, filling the room.
PAULINE
Yes! I’m such a fool! I vowed
never to accept lies or deceit.
I’ve seen love turn to hate—I can’t
handle that.
RACHEL
When I was your age, I was just

I hadn’t let go of that fear, I’d

Chaos at Timeless Fashions
71 EXT/INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 71
Pauline, Portia, and Celeste chat in the store, the
atmosphere light but palpable tension lingers in the air,
suggesting an impending storm. A deep breath lands in the
silence. Then, suddenly—a CUSTOMER bursts in, breathless and
wide-eyed.
CUSTOMER 1
Bradley Jackson is on his way here!
Pauline’s eyes widen in alarm. She stumbles backward, her
hands shaking as she rushes to lock the door, biting her lip
to conceal her rising anxiety. Outside, the frenzy begins.
Reporters and fans shout, camera flashes punctuating the
chaos. Bradley Jackson bursts through the crowd, panic
evident in his rumpled clothes and flushed face. He gasps for
breath as Pauline secures the door just before it’s pounded
from the outside. Fear and anger tighten Pauline's face,
manifesting as she paces, her heart racing.
PAULINE
(under her breath)
Not again…
As she stands her ground, jaw clenched in frustration,
Bradley approaches, distress clear in his strained, nearly
inaudible voice over the clamor.
BRADLEY
Pauline, I need to explain—please,
just give me a moment!
Pauline crosses her arms, her frustration palpable.
PAULINE
Explain what? You’ve turned this
place into a circus!
Bradley’s face reveals a mix of desperation and guilt—he
looks at her like she’s the only point of calm in his storm.
100.
CELESTE
(brow raised)
I mean, does he even own a shirt
without a logo?
Her wry humor breaks the tension momentarily. Pauline
glimpses a side-eye from Portia and they share a quick,
nervous laugh, but the chaos outside looms large.
CELESTE
Bradley is on the news.
Celeste points to the store’s TV. A Reporter is speaking
about Bradley’s visit to the Bahamas.
BRADLEY
Pauline, I made a mistake—I—
PAULINE
Save it, Bradley. I don’t want any
more of your excuses.
Tony arrives outside, trying to manage the crowd, but his
efforts are futile as the crowd grows more agitated. A FAN
screams from outside, creating a chaotic frenzy.
FAN
It’s Bradley Jackson! Bradley!
The store’s windows shake under the pressure of the crowd,
the noise and commotion creating a claustrophobic atmosphere.
PAULINE
This is turning into a nightmare! I
never should have let you kiss me.
PORTIA
(bewildered)
This is the boy you kissed?
Pauline's hurt shines through, her walls beginning to crack.
PAULINE
I didn’t know he was famous. I
thought it was real...
BRADLEY
It’s real, Pauline. I care about
you more than you know.
Pauline hesitates, glancing at Portia, searching for clarity.
A moment of vulnerability washes over her; she takes a deep
breath, steadying herself. Pauline pulls Bradley aside.
101.
PAULINE
(whispers nervously)
Alright, Bradley. If you really
want to make it up to me, I need a
favor.
BRADLEY
Anything.
PAULINE
Portia’s 30th birthday is tomorrow,
and she’s feeling really down. I
think it would mean a lot if you
came to her party.
Bradley processes this, his expression shifting as
disappointment flickers across his face.
BRADLEY
Oh… Portia's party?
PAULINE
(softly)
Yeah… I think she’s got a bit of a
crush on you. It would really lift
her spirits if you showed up.
Bradley’s shoulders sag. He takes a moment, the weight of his
situation clouding his determination.
BRADLEY
I’ll go… but on one condition.
PAULINE
(curious)
What's that?
BRADLEY
You have to drive with me.
Pauline hesitates, the gears in her mind visibly turning.
Finally, for Portia’s sake, she nods.
PAULINE
Thank you, Bradley. You’re a
lifesaver.
Bradley forces a smile but it doesn’t reach his eyes. The
sound of police sirens wails outside, urgency climbing to a
crescendo. Officers push through the crowd, trying to restore
order.
102.
Pauline, feeling overwhelmed, gestures for Bradley to go. She
pulls out her keys, unlocking the door just as police and
Bradley’s bodyguards create a protective barrier around him.
Bradley looks back, regret pooling in his expression as he
slips into the throng of officers and bodyguards. Pauline
locks the door behind him, hands trembling slightly, her
heart pounding in the aftermath of chaos.
PORTIA
Must be tourists causing all
this commotion. Bahamians are
usually better at respecting
celebrities' privacy.
Pauline sinks into a nearby chair, burying her face in her
hands as deep, shaky breaths escape her. Celeste walks over,
concerned.
CELESTE
Why don’t you join me and the kids
at the beach after work? It might
help clear your head.
Pauline looks up, her face still riddled with worry, but the
weariness softens her resolve.
PAULINE
(whispers)
Maybe I need a change after all.
The sentiment hangs in the air, an unspoken resolve
solidifying within her as she nods in agreement.

Reclaiming Joy at Behring Point Beach
72 EXT. BEHRING POINT BEACH - DAY 72
The sun casts a golden hue over the secluded stretch of white
sandy beach, where the rhythmic sound of waves crashing
against the shore mingles with the joyous laughter of
children. Celeste and Tony engage playfully with her kids,
building a sandcastle that rises majestically, shimmering in
the sunlight.
Celeste, however, is visibly distracted. She absently fidgets
with her necklace, each twist echoing the conflict in her
heart. She frequently glances toward the road, anxiety
pulling at her as she spots Pauline’s familiar vehicle
approaching.
Pauline parks near Celeste’s car, a slight frown of concern
etched on her brow as she exits.
103.
They both enter the air-conditioned haven of Celeste’s car,
nestled among towering casuarina trees, which sway gently in
the warm breeze. From the window, they see Tony engaged in
animated conversation with the children on the beach.
PAULINE
Girl, why do you put up with Jeff?
CELESTE
That’s not Jeff, that's Tony. He
actually cares about me. And for
once, I feel... seen.
Pauline’s hand hesitates in a wave; she’s astonished by the
contagious warmth radiating from Tony’s smile as he jests
with the kids. His laughter floats back to them, rich and
inviting.
PAULINE
Celeste! You’ve been holding out on
me. I need to know everything!
Together, they absorb the sight of Tony leading the children
down the beach, his carefree stride echoing the innocence of
their play.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
That is so sweet. They like him?
Celeste's laughter bubbles up, a refreshing sound that breaks
the tension. The air is charged with hope and unspoken word.
Suddenly, an aggressive bang jolts them; Jeff’s twisted face
appears at the driver’s side window, his fury palpable.
JEFF
What are you doing out here? I
heard you are with another man!
Celeste’s heart races, her eyes darting between the
undeniably angry Jeff and the distant joy of Tony and the
children who are now hidden from view. Deep down, she feels
fear gnawing at her resolve.
CELESTE
(taking a steadying
breath, voice trembling)
Yes I am!
With newfound courage, she leans back, revealing Pauline
beside her.
104.
PAULINE
(adopting a mock deep
voice, teasing)
Hello Jeff.
Jeff’s face flushes with embarrassment; he fumbles, his
irritation morphing into frustrated disbelief.
JEFF
(muttering as he walks
away)
This is ridiculous…
Celeste watches Jeff retreat, a maelstrom of relief and
lingering frustration swirling within her. Pauline’s hand
finds Celeste's shoulder, a grounding presence.
CELESTE
I won’t let him ruin this for me. I
don’t need his permission to be
happy. Can’t he see how far I'm
willing to go for my happiness?
Pauline nods, her eyes understanding the weight of Celeste’s
words. A shared moment of silence settles between them,
filled with unspoken solidarity.
PAULINE
Are you okay? That was intense.
CELESTE
(finally exhaling)
I am now. I just... I can’t let his
jealousy dictate my life. I need to
reclaim my happiness
A soft breeze rustles the trees as Celeste and Pauline share
a determined look, strengthened by the ordeal they've faced
together. Emboldened, they stand and step out of the car,
walking hand in hand back toward the beach, the sound of
children's laughter swirling around them like a promise of
brighter days ahead.

mirror, smoothing her dress. She smiles at her reflection,
eyes sparkling with excitement. With a playful laugh, she

Bradley, handsome and charming, both of them brimming with
excitement.
74 EXT. FIVE BROTHERS MANSION - DAY 74
The back of a two-story colonial mansion is alive with
vibrant energy. Gazebos adorned with twinkling streamers and
colorful balloons surround a sparkling pool that leads down
to a private dock. The pool deck hums with conversation and
laughter as revelers mingle. A lively Bahamian band provides
a rhythmic backdrop to the festive scene.
Portia navigates through her friends, her forced smiles
betraying her anxiety about turning 30. As if on cue, Bradley
makes a grand entrance at the top of the steps, holding a
beautifully wrapped gift. Heads turn and whispers ripple
through the crowd. Pauline, Tony and his bodyguards follow
closely behind, their presence almost unnoticed in the wake
of Bradley’s arrival.
75 EXT. FIVE BROTHERS MANSION PATIO - DAY 75
Portia’s eyes light up when she spots Bradley. She
practically flies over to him, her heart racing.
BRADLEY
(smiling warmly)
Happy Birthday, Portia!
PORTIA
(beaming)
Bradley Jackson at my birthday
party! How did you even find out?
Bradley hands her the gift, his eyes scanning the crowd for
Pauline. Portia's cheeks flush, her excitement bordering on
disbelief. Celeste shyly smiles at Tony who smiles back.
PAULINE
(stepping forward and
hugging Portia)
Happy Birthday Portia.
PORTIA
Everyone, look who came to my
party—Bradley Jackson!
Bradley acknowledges the crowd with a nod.
106.
PORTIA (CONT'D)
I’ve got to mingle, but I’ll save
you a dance later.
Bradley smiles and heads toward the bar, while Clement
watches from the end of the bar, his gaze fixed on Bradley.
Fans begin taking photos and live streaming, their excitement
palpable.
76 EXT. FIVE BROTHERS MANSION BAR - DAY 76
Bradley orders two drinks, exchanging smiles and brief
conversations with fans. The bartender hands him the drinks,
and Bradley’s eyes lock onto Pauline standing near a gazebo.
He makes his way over, his focus solely on her.
77 EXT. 5 BROTHERS MANSION GAZEBO - DAY 77
Bradley hands Pauline a drink. She takes it, smiles, walks
toward the dock, looks out at the sea, stands there enveloped
in contemplation, her expression reflecting the weight of
decisions looming ahead. Lost in her thoughts, the sound of
approaching footsteps interrupts her reverie. She turns and
faces Bradley, whose face is a canvas of concern and longing,
bathed in the natural sunlight.
BRADLEY
(softly)
Pauline.
Taking a tentative step closer, the palpable tension between
them crackles in the tranquil air.
Pauline meets his gaze, a mix of determination and doubt
swirling in her eyes.
PAULINE
(resolute, yet vulnerable)
Bradley.
Gathering her resolve, Pauline speaks, her words heavy with
the burden of choice.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
What are we doing Bradley? I can't
ignore the legacy of my family,
Bradley. It's a part of who I am.
Bradley, with gentle resolve, responds.
107.
BRADLEY
But what about who you want to be,
Pauline? Your dreams, your
passions—do they not deserve a
chance to flourish?
Their eyes lock in a silent battle of conflicting ideals,
each grappling with their inner turmoil.
Pauline's voice quivers, revealing the depths of her
struggle.
PAULINE
I want both, Bradley. I want to
honor the past while building my
future.
Bradley reaches out his hand, a wordless plea for unity and
understanding.
BRADLEY
Then let me stand beside you,
Pauline. Let's carve a path that
intertwines our desires and creates
something unique.
The veranda hangs heavy with anticipation, the setting sun
casting long shadows of uncertainty.
Pauline stands on the brink of decision, torn between
tradition and freedom, family legacy and personal
aspirations.
Their shared silence speaks volumes, the unspoken truths and
promises echoing in the tranquil air.
Bradley, then gently takes her hand, leading her toward the
dock. As they walk, Clement watches from a distance, his
expression a mix of envy and determination. He follows from a
distance.

78 EXT. 5 BROTHERS MANSION DOCK - DAY 78
The lively buzz of the party fades into the background as
Pauline and Bradley stand on the dock. The tiki torches cast
a warm, flickering light on their faces. Pauline leans
slightly over the edge, lost in thought, while Bradley’s hand
rests lightly on her waist.
Their intense gaze is interrupted by a loud splash. They turn
to see Clement struggling to climb up the ladder from the
water, drenched and embarrassed.
108.
PAULINE
(shocked)
Clement! What are you doing?
BRADLEY
Spying on us.
CLEMENT
(flustered)
I... I just slipped. I saw you
almost fall and got worried.
He hesitates, meeting Pauline’s gaze, his concern evident.
CLEMENT (CONT'D)
You looked... happy, and I didn’t
want anything to ruin that.
Bradley’s demeanor hardens, while Pauline's frustration
bubbles up.
CLEMENT (CONT'D)
(quickly leaving)
Excuse me. Have a good day.
PAULINE
Let's just enjoy this moment.
Bradley smiles, nodding in agreement. They share a quiet,
reflective moment.
PAULINE
Bradley, you always seemed so
confident. What's behind the mask?
BRADLEY
I fear you won’t like the real me.
PAULINE
Try me.
BRADLEY
I didn’t have much growing up.
Acting was my escape. But
maintaining an image is exhausting.
I put on a facade to hide my
insecurities.
Pauline listens, her empathy growing as she senses the depth
of Bradley’s vulnerability.
PAULINE
You're more than the roles you
play. You're human.
109.
Bradley’s guard lowers, a sense of relief washing over him as
he opens up to Pauline.
BRADLEY
I want to be real, for once.
Bradley moves closer, kisses pauline tenderly. Their bond
strengthens with this exchange, creating palpable
intimacy. A moment of silence hangs between them after the
kiss, allowing the audience to absorb the connection.
Finally, with a smile, Pauline gestures for them to return
to the party. As they turn to leave, Portia stands there
furious.
PORTIA
I can’t believe you would do this
at my birthday party, Pauline. You
know I like Bradley. How could you
just kiss him like that?
BRADLEY
Portia, I don’t have any interest
in you.
PORTIA
That’s because Pauline won’t give
you a second to breathe! Pauline
you’re always in his face, making
it impossible for anyone else to
get close.
PAULINE
(eyes blazing)
Fine! If that’s how you feel, then
I’ll stop seeing Bradley. You’re
right. I’m done.
Pauline storms off, her footsteps echoing on the gravel.
Portia’s anger shifts to a mix of regret and hurt as she
watches Pauline leave. Bradley looks at Portia, conflicted
but silent.
BRADLEY
Maybe it’s for the best.
Bradley and Portia walks back to the party.
79 EXT. 5 BROTHERS MANSION GAZEBO - DAY 79
The party is in full swing, Bahamian music artist STILLET
commanding the stage.
110.
His electrifying performance sends the
crowd into a frenzy, cheers and laughter blending with
vibrant beats. Amidst the lavish decorations, PORTIA dazzles
in the spotlight, but her smiles falter as she repeatedly
glances at Bradley, swarmed by women dancing exuberantly. The
scene unfolds with an uneasy feeling.
From the edge of the crowd, Pauline’s warmth toward Bradley
evaporates, replaced by a storm of jealousy and hurt. Her
face reddens as she clenches her fists, struggling to contain
her emotions. The chaos of the party dims under the weight of
her distress.
Unable to control her emotions any longer, Pauline hesitates,
her conflict visible—should she confront him? But with one
more glance at Bradley’s blatant flirtation, she bolts,
shoving past oblivious revelers.
Bradley's eyes widen as he notices Pauline's frantic
departure. Realizing the gravity of the situation, he pushes
through the paparazzi, shouting over the noise.
BRADLEY
Pauline, wait!
Cameras flash relentlessly, a blinding storm of light
amplifying the confusion as journalists shout questions.
PAPARAZZI 1
Is that your new flame, Bradley?
Are you two officially dating?
Pauline, now on the verge of tears, makes it to the locked
security gate. Panic rises as the commotion of cameras and
distant shouts from security close in around her. Rolling
through the chaos, Bradley's determination sharpens.
80 EXT. 5 BROTHERS MANSION PARKING LOT - DAY 80
Pauline stands alone in the parking lot. Security opens the
gate to allow a a Taxi to drops off a guest.
PAULINE
(voice trembling)
Can you take me to Behring Point?
The driver nods. As she climbs in, a sudden rush of
exhilaration blends with dread. Bradley emerges, a storm of
fans and paparazzi swirling around him. The Taxi takes off.
BRADLEY
Pauline, wait.
111.
She ignores him, conflicted emotions both igniting and
extinguishing within her. Just then, a paparazzi on a
motorcycle veers in front, causing the driver to slam on the
brakes. Pauline is jolted, her frustration spilling over.
Bradley, freaking out at the near miss, races to the taxi.
Tony, and a seasoned bodyguard, rushes out to fend off the
paparazzi, his presence solid but brief.
Pauline steps out, steam rising from her frustrations.
BRADLEY
What's wrong?
PAULINE
What's wrong? Bradley, you were
dancing with them like it meant
nothing!
BRADLEY
It’s just part of the show, you
know that.
Resentment and hurt flash in Pauline's eyes as memories
of his promises stir within her.
Clement, lingering in the background, catches sight of her
distress and approaches with calm assurance.
CLEMENT
Pauline, are you okay? You seem...
PAULINE
(cutting him off)
I just need to go home.
CLEMENT
I can give you a ride.
Pauline hesitates, glancing at Bradley who appears lost, an
echo of their past laughter now a haunting memory. She nods,
feeling both heavier and lighter at the same time.
PAULINE
Okay, thank you Clement.
Clement opens the door, a knowing glance exchanged as he
steps in. His subtle, lingering gaze on her feels like an
invitation to explore a different path. They drive away,
leaving Bradley behind, the party sounds fading to an echo.

81 INT. CLEMENT’S CAR - IN MOTION - DAY 81
The car speeds along a deserted road, the outside world a
blur. Inside, tension thickens the air. Pauline fidgets with
her rings, twisting them nervously, her eyes fixed on the
window. The distant sound of the party has long faded,
replaced by the relentless hum of the engine, isolating them
in an uncomfortable cocoon.
Her phone buzzes sharply on her lap. She flinches, stealing a
glance at Clement. His grip tightens on the steering wheel,
knuckles white, as he shoots a quick, worried look her way.
PAULINE
I don’t understand, Clement. Does
he even see me anymore?
Clement’s eyes soften, his own pain breaking through his
carefully controlled demeanor. He meets her gaze, revealing a
brief but intense vulnerability.
CLEMENT
There was a time... I felt
invisible too. Life has a way of
blinding us, making us lose sight
of what matters.
Pauline absorbs his words, feeling the weight of his empathy
filling the void left by Bradley’s betrayal. The sting of his
confession resonates deeply with her.
PAULINE
I thought what we had was special.
Now it feels... so fragile, like it
could break at any moment.
Clement’s hand reaches out, brushing her shoulder gently. His
warmth contrasts sharply with the cold turmoil inside her,
grounding her in this fleeting moment of intimacy
CLEMENT
You deserve to be valued, Pauline.
Don’t let anyone take that from
you.
Clement's car speeds down a dimly lit street, its headlights
cutting through the darkness. Inside, Clement grips the
steering wheel tightly, his eyes darting to the rearview
mirror. Pauline, sitting beside him, notices his unease.
Clement makes a sudden turn down a narrow residential street,
trying to shake them off. The sudden turn jolts Pauline.
113.
PAULINE
What’s that all about?
CLEMENT
We’re being followed.
PAULINE
Followed!
Pauline's eyes widen as she glances back, seeing a car
trailing closely behind. The headlights glare menacingly in
the mirror. The pursuing car follows, its tires screeching.
The neighborhood blurs past them as Clement weaves through
the streets, taking random turns to lose their tail. But the
other car is relentless, sticking to them like glue.
Clement’s jaw clenches as he makes another quick turn, only
to see the car still behind them. Suddenly, the pursuing car
pulls up alongside them. Pauline’s eyes widen in horror as
the window rolls down, revealing a camera lens pointed
directly at them. Flash after flash lights up the interior of
their car.
PAULINE
They followed us from the party.
Why did I go with that man?
Clement slams his foot on the accelerator, the engine roaring
as they surge forward, narrowly avoiding a parked car. The
paparazzi car struggles to keep up as Clement maneuvers
through the tight streets.
The car finally nears Pauline's driveway, the tension
mounting with each passing second. Clement pulls in sharply,
the paparazzi now left behind in the distance. Clement turns
off the lights. Pauline’s heartbeat quickens, echoing the
impending decision she must make. She locks eyes with
Clement, their connection electric and raw.
Pauline locks eyes with Clement, their connection electric
and raw.
PAULINE
Thanks. That was brilliant. Do I
have to live this way for the rest
of my life?
Clement holds her hand in his, still breathing hard.
CLEMENT
You can stop it any time you want.
114.
PAULINE
(vulnerably)
Clement, I feel... so lost. Every
moment with Bradley leaves me
questioning myself. It’s
suffocating.
CLEMENT
Sometimes chaos is the only thing
that can lead us to clarity—if we
dare to embrace it.
Their gazes are locked, the air between them charged with
unspoken feelings. Clement leans in, their breaths mingling
in a tender, almost desperate moment. Just as their lips are
about to touch, her phone buzzes violently again. It’s a
message from Bradley, cutting through the tension with sharp
precision: “You shouldn’t have left. I miss you.”
Pauline’s face falls, her emotions collapsing into a
maelstrom of confusion. She pulls away from Clement, her eyes
reflecting the inner conflict she’s feeling. With a pained
expression, she turns away, leaving Clement standing in
stunned silence, the weight of their unspoken potential
hanging heavily in the air.

82 INT. BRADLEY’S JET - DAY 82

thoughts, guilt etched deeply into his features.
BRADLEY
She sees right through me. I
thought it was thrilling. Now I’m
not sure I had her at all.
TONY
Pride can blind us, Bradley.
Sometimes protecting what truly
matters means allowing ourselves to
be vulnerable.
BRADLEY
I used to have a clear direction.
Now I feel... lost, aimless.

TONY
We all wear masks. Often, it’s
those very facades that prevent us

Bradley listens, his expression softening as the weight of
Tony’s words begins to resonate.

The flight attendant announces the plane is ready for
takeoff, the door closing behind them, marking the end of one
chapter and the beginning of a new, uncertain journey.
83 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 83
The store's elegant displays and soft lighting contrast with
Pauline’s sad mood as she walks in. Celeste and Portia look
up from their conversation, exchanging a concerned glance.
Portia and Celeste approach, their concern evident. Portia
gently places a hand on Pauline's arm.
PORTIA
You left the party without saying
goodbye. What happened?
PAULINE
It's Bradley. He’s been so caught
up in his own world. I feel like
I'm just... invisible. And the
lies—there’s no end to them.
Pauline’s eyes brim with tears. Her voice cracks as she
speaks.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
I’ve tried talking to him, but he
just denies everything or gives
some lame excuse. It’s like I’m
shouting into an abyss. I’m
starting to question if we were
ever real.
Celeste places a comforting hand on Pauline’s shoulder, her
gaze warm and sympathetic.
116.
CELESTE
Maybe he’s dealing with something
internal. Relationships can be
complicated, and sometimes people
don’t know how to express what
they’re feeling.
Pauline glances at Portia, who looks skeptical. Portia
crosses her arms, her disappointment clear.
PORTIA
I understand that, but you should
also consider whether it's worth
enduring the pain if he's not being
honest.
Pauline’s resolve hardens, her eyes meeting Celeste's with
determination.
PAULINE
I don’t want to give up yet.
There’s still something here worth
fighting for. I’ll try again.
Celeste nods, her support unwavering.
CELESTE
That’s brave. Open dialogue is
essential. We’re here for you.
Portia shakes her head slightly, her frustration evident but
unsaid.
PORTIA
Just make sure you’re not losing
yourself in the process.
The tension hangs in the air as Pauline absorbs the
conflicting advice from her friends.
84 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - NIGHT 84
Pauline sits on the couch, tears streaming down her face as
she scrolls through photos on her cellphone of her and
Bradley on the bridge. Each image reminds her of the laughter
they shared, the late-night talks, and the unguarded moments
that feel like a different lifetime.
The doorbell rings, startling her. She quickly wipes her
tears, bracing herself, her heart thudding in her chest.
PAULINE
Who is it?
117.
BRADLEY (O.S.)
Bradley.
A rush of conflicting emotions surges through her;
uncertainty, anger, and a flicker of hope. She hesitates,
wrestling with her instincts, before finally opening the
door.
Bradley stands there, a small gift box in his hands, an
apologetic smile flickering across his lips.
PAULINE
(mocking)
Yes, It’s me Bradley Jackson.
(a beat)
I thought you were gone for good.
Bradley steps inside, closing the door softly behind him, the
sound almost ominous in the quiet room. The tension is
palpable, the air thick with unspoken words.
BRADLEY
That was three days ago, Pauline. I
couldn’t stay away. I came back
because... I need you to give me a
second chance.
Pauline’s face hardens, but her heart races beneath her stoic
exterior. She forces a smirk, crossing her arms as if
shielding herself.
PAULINE
You know the rules. No boys allowed
in the house when my parents are
out.
Her voice cracks slightly, betraying her. She collapses onto
the couch, her bravado slipping as exhaustion washes over
her. Bradley sits beside her, the weight of his own anxiety
clear in the way his hands tremble. Her eyes flicker to the
gift box; suspicion and curiosity wage war within her.
With hesitant fingers, she unwraps the box, her breath
hitching when she pulls out a heart-shaped cushion. Her
defenses waver, emotions swirling uncontrollably. Bradley,
eyes full of quiet determination, takes her hand and places
it over his heart, the steady rhythm beneath both soothing
and terrifying.
BRADLEY
This is my heart… and it’s yours. I
promise, no more secrets, no lies.
118.
For a moment, time stops. Memories of laughter and dreams
flood Pauline's mind, but they crash against the sharp sting
of betrayal, making her heart ache. She fights the urge to
crumble in front of him.
PAULINE
I can’t just forget how you
disrespected me at Portia’s party.
That wound... it’s still fresh.
Bradley's face falls, guilt and regret washing over him like
a tide. He looks down, raking a hand through his hair as if
trying to claw his way through the mess he’s made.
BRADLEY
I’m truly sorry. I was thoughtless.
I never wanted to hurt you.
The silence between them is heavy, filled with the weight of
all the things left unsaid. He reaches out, taking her hand,
his touch gentle yet firm, as if afraid she might slip away.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
I’ve missed you. Every day without
you... it’s been hell.
Pauline’s defenses start to crack, her emotions threatening
to spill over. She exhales shakily, a mix of relief and
longing in her voice.
PAULINE
I missed you too.
A fragile, tender connection sparks between them, the air
humming with unresolved tension. The playful banter returns,
but it’s tinged with the gravity of their unspoken fears.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
I’m having a birthday party next
month, on the 5th. Think you could
clear your schedule?
PAULINE
I’ll have my manager check, and get
back to you.
Bradley chuckles, catching the joke.
BRADLEY
Why are you so difficult? What’s
wrong with you?
119.
PAULINE
(teasingly)
Nothing you can’t fix.
Bradley chuckles, but it’s a nervous sound, almost forced. He
inches closer, his playful facade slipping as he reaches into
his pocket, his face growing serious.
Before he can speak, the faint jingling of keys from outside
pierces the silence, jolting them both. Pauline’s eyes widen
in alarm, the sound pulling her back to reality with a harsh
snap. The keys jingle louder, more urgent, as if someone is
about to enter.
Panic flares in Pauline's chest. Her parents—they’re home
early. Her eyes dart to the door, then back to Bradley, fear
and urgency battling in her expression.

85 EXT. NEWTON’S HOUSE - NIGHT 85
Paul and Rachel push through a swarm of paparazzi,
desperately trying to reach their front door. Flashing
cameras and shouted questions surround them like a storm.
PAPARAZZI 1
Is your daughter dating Bradley
Jackson? Do you approve?
PAPARAZZI 2
They broke up at Portia’s party,
right? Have they patched things up?
PAPARAZZI 3
Bradley’s quite the charmer, isn’t
he? Are you worried about your
daughter alone in there with him?
Paul, fuming, stops and glares at the paparazzi.
PAUL
My daughter’s safe at home. How
about yours?
The paparazzi momentarily fall silent, taken aback by Paul’s
retort. Suddenly, a loud scream echoes from inside the house.
The silence is shattered as cameras start flashing more
furiously, and the paparazzi lean in closer.

Paul yanks the door open and they dart inside, slamming it
shut behind them.
86 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 86
Paul and Rachel enter to find Pauline, a mix of tears and
joy, as Bradley kneels before her, holding out a ring. The
room is charged with anticipation, a gentle silence taking
over.
Pauline takes a deep breath, the chaos of paparazzi fading
away. She glances at her parents, worry etched on their
faces, yet hope flickers in their eyes. She turns back to
Bradley, his earnest gaze igniting a spark of courage inside
her.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Yes... Yes, I'll marry you!
Paul and Rachel rush forward, wrapping them both in a tight,
emotional embrace. The room fills with a blend of joy and the
bittersweet weight of the moment.
PAUL
Our little girl. Getting married.
RACHEL
I just want you to be happy,
Pauline. But the world can be so
harsh.
Pauline's heart quickens at Rachel's words, the understanding
of concern mixing with excitement. As they embrace, a close-
up reveals the sparkling engagement ring—symbol of promise,
yet a heavy burden weighing on Pauline's shoulders.
BRADLEY
You’ve made me the happiest man
alive.
Sensing the need for privacy, Rachel gently steps back.
121.
RACHEL
We’ve had enough excitement for one
night. We’ll leave you two to talk.
Good night.
Paul and Rachel exit, leaving Bradley and Pauline alone. The
atmosphere shifts, earlier joy giving way to the weight of
the future. Bradley sits with Pauline, taking her hand, his
face serious yet tender.
BRADLEY
Let me handle the media first
before we make the announcement.
PAULINE
(anxious)
Bradley, how will I fit into
Hollywood life? What if they’re
waiting to tear me apart? The
tabloids, the constant scrutiny...
I don’t want to end up like the
others...
A brief flashback plays in her mind: her awkward moments at
the party, the jealous whispers, the fear of living in a
public fishbowl. Bradley, sensing her fear, tightens his hold
on her hand, trying to reassure her, although doubt is in his
own eyes.
BRADLEY
We’ll figure it out together. I
promise.
Pauline watches him, searching for certainty while her own
emotions whirl in a storm of hope and fear. She glances at
the engagement ring again, her fingers fidgeting with it,
evoking memories of her family's love and the fear of ruining
it.
PAULINE
(murmurs)
Am I really ready for this?
The moment holds heavy in the air, leaving the audience
questioning her readiness and the stakes of her choice. With
the ring in hand, she whispers, almost to herself:
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Is love enough in this world?
Pauline gazes at Bradley from the side of her eyes.

gaze fixated on the water pitcher, as if it's the only
clarity in her life.
She hesitates, her fingers trailing over the pitcher,
contemplating whether to pour or to flee. The water
inside swirls, mirroring the turbulence within her.
PAULINE (V.O.)
Did I really accept his proposal? I
can’t keep doing this. More
heartbreak? What kind of love
thrives amongst lies, shadows,

With an energy that suggests both determination and fear,
she grasps the glass firmly, the tremor in her hand
betraying her inner conflict before she fills it with water.
In that moment, the kitchen transforms into a battlefield—
a struggle between hope and despair.
Taking a deep breath, she steels herself, every step

silently muttering a mantra to herself: “I will not be
invisible.”
88 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - NIGHT 88
Pauline steps into the living room, her breath shaky as she
hands the glass of water to Bradley. He takes it with
trembling hands, his eyes avoiding hers, the silence between
them thick and oppressive. The once-cozy living room now
feels stifling, heavy with the weight of what remains unsaid.
BRADLEY
I guess that’s my cue.
Pauline’s eyes narrow, her exhaustion evident, but the
sarcasm slips through as a defense.
PAULINE
No, I’m going to take a shower. You
can join me in my room—we have to
talk. This silence is killing me.

Bradley’s face tightens, a storm of emotions raging beneath
his calm exterior. He hesitates, then reaches out, taking her

let go.
PAULINE
I need to know, Bradley. Are we
just prolonging the inevitable? Or
is there really going to be a
marriage?
Bradley look up, just as uncertain as she is.
89 INT. BRIGADIER’S RESTAURANT - NIGHT 89
The transition to Brigadier’s Restaurant sharpens the
atmosphere. The clinking of glasses and beneath laughter
morph into that calm, beach-side ambiance. Celeste and Tony
sit at a candlelit table, shadows dancing around them.
CELESTE
Thank you for this. You seem...
unusually happy tonight. What’s
your secret?
TONY
It’s the place, the view... and
you. Everything else fades when I’m

They touch hands briefly, a small spark of connection.
Celeste’s smile falters as she spots Jeff entering with his
new girlfriend. The weight of their shared past presses
heavily on her.
CELESTE
Maybe it’s because Bradley’s
not here.
TONY
The break helps, but you’re what
truly makes this special.
CELESTE
What got you into managing people?
TONY
Life’s twists. Family chaos led me
to production. What about you?
Celeste’s smile fades as if disturbed by a distant memory.

CELESTE
I had to pause my college dreams

teeth, her grip on Tony’s hand tightening; it’s a blend of
determination and fear written on her face.
TONY
What’s wrong?
CELESTE
It’s Jeff. If I confront him, it
means cutting ties forever,
risking everything for me and the
kids if he pulls away financial
support.
Tony’s gaze follows hers, concern creeping onto his face.
The tension is almost palpable. Celeste rises with
determined grace, her body ready for battle but
apprehensive. She strides toward Jeff's table, the air
suffocating with unresolved history.
CELESTE (CONT'D)
Who’s she?
JEFF
Celeste baby, calm down. She’s just
a colleague.
Celeste’s anger ignites with fury, her eyes blazing like
wildfire. The girlfriend jolts up, the chair screeching
against the tiled floor as she exits, flustered.
JEFF (CONT'D)
Celeste, let’s talk this out.
CELESTE
You left me and the kids with
nothing. If you want to see them
again, have your lawyer contact
mine. And don’t you dare come near
me again.
125.
Jeff stands, shock freezing him in place. Celeste strides
back, her heart pounding as she returns to Tony, who gazes
at her with newfound admiration.
TONY
I’m proud of you for standing your
ground. Feeling better?
CELESTE
Much. Let’s take a walk.
Hand-in-hand, they exit the restaurant. Celeste’s spirit
radiates strength, her decision echoing against the
crashing waves outside; beneath that vast ocean, a tide of
empowerment courses through her.

Bradley perches in a chair, scrutinizing a collection of
gifts stacked neatly in the corner.
BRADLEY
You've got quite the stash here.
PAULINE
(emerging, laughing)
Yeah, it's like a gift graveyard.
All the celebrations-piled up.
Pauline bounds onto the bed with an infectious energy,
collapsing into it. Their laughter mingles before their
conversation slows into a contented hush, the warmth between
them palpable.
BRADLEY
Are you getting -- sleepy yet?
PAULINE
(stifling a yawn)
Not yet. You?
Still chuckling, Bradley shakes his head, but his eyelids
droop.

92 EXT. NEWTON’S HOUSE - DAY 92
It’s early morning. Bradley's two Bodyguard are asleep in the
SUV.
93 INT. PAULINE’S BEDROOM - DAY 93
Sunbeams filter through the curtains as Pauline stirs awake,
blinking against the soft light. Her gaze falls on the ring
adorning her finger. Confusion spreads across her face.
PAULINE
What have I done?
She caresses the ring, emotions swirling within her, a
bittersweet smile creeping up.
A faint knock interrupts her reverie.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Who is it?
RACHEL (O.S.)
It Mom. May I come in?
Pauline’s heart leaps into her throat as she notices Bradley
still asleep in the chair. Panic grips her; she frantically
snatches a pillow and hurls it at him.
PAULINE
Hold on, Mom.
(to Bradley)
You look like a lovesick fool. Up!
BRADLEY
(cheeky)
Good morning.
Pauline’s heart races, sensing the looming disaster. The
stakes have never felt higher.
PAULINE
You were supposed to leave when I
fell asleep.
Bradley stands, eyes glinting with tender reassurance despite
the tension.
BRADLEY
I’m sorry, I dozed off. But
Pauline… I love you.
127.
Pauline’s resolve falters for a moment, the weight of his
words hitting her, but the imminent danger pulls her back.
PAULINE
I love you too, but you must hide
now!
Bradley, realizing the gravity of the situation, quickly
dives into the closet. Pauline pulls the covers up, trying to
calm her pounding heart as Rachel’s footsteps draw closer.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Come in mummy.
Rachel enters, her presence commanding, her eyes scanning the
room. Pauline’s heart hammers against her chest. Rachel’s
gaze lingers on a shoe next to the chair, her expression
tightening.
RACHEL
Can we talk?
PAULINE
(fidgeting)
How about I freshen up first? You
know I take ages.
Rachel’s eyes narrow as she catches the flicker of fear in
Pauline’s expression. Rachel gaps as she notices Bradley’s
shoe next to the chair but quickly composes herself and
pretends not to see it. Quick on her feet, Pauline guides her
mother out and shuts the door, feeling the weight of the
moment. Bradley steps out of the closet.
PAULINE
Go!
As Bradley slips out, he leaves the door slightly ajar, but a
rustle from the kitchen halts him.
BRADLEY
Someone’s in the kitchen.
Panic floods Pauline, her anxiety palpable.
BRADLEY (CONT'D)
I’ll go out the window.
PAULINE
The window’s jammed shut. I’ll draw
their attention, and you make a
quick getaway.
128.
With her heart racing, Pauline heads toward the kitchen while
Bradley prepares to act, the tension thick enough to cut with
a knife.
FADE OUT.

94 INT. NEWTON’S KITCHEN - DAY 94
The morning light spills into the cramped kitchen,
illuminating Pauline as she enters, embracing her dad
tightly.
PAULINE
Good morning dad.
PAUL
Morning Pauline.
Pauline pulls back, a smile plastered on her face, masking
the tension beneath. She fidgets with a coffee mug, trying to
ground herself.
PAULINE
Why don’t you head back to your
room? I can handle breakfast.
Paul pops two slices of bread into the toaster, indifference
serving as a shield.
PAUL
Just coffee and toast for me.
Bradley breezes past them, headed for the door, energy in
contrast to the stillness that hangs in the air
PAUL (CONT’D)
Morning, Bradley.
Bradley stops, sensing the heaviness, his expression
shifting.
BRADLEY
Hello Mr. Newton.
Pauline glances at Bradley, biting her lip, wrestling with
what hangs unsaid.
PAULINE
Dad, nothing happened. He fell
asleep in the chair.
129.
BRADLEY
Sir, that was on me. I’m sorry.
PAUL
Alright, Pauline… We trust you.
Goodbye, Bradley.
Rachel strides in, her face pale, distress etched across her
features.
RACHEL
Wait! Bradley, don’t go. We need
to talk.
Rachel strides to the phone answering machine, her fingers
moving with urgency. She presses PLAY.
TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINE
You have three messages.
(beep)
Pauline, this is Portia. You’re not
answering your cellphone. Call
me...It’s about Bradley.
(beep)
Pauline! Please pick up...
Paul, Rachel, and Pauline turn their gazes to Bradley.
PAULINE
What business do you have with
Portia?
Bradley shakes his head vigorously, confusion swimming in his
eyes. Rachel scrutinizes him, arms crossed.
PAUL
There is another message.
The room goes silent; dread looms as Paul presses PLAY.
TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINE
Mr. Newton, Simon Brown here. The
property survey shows your building
is on Mr. Bain’s land. You need to
call me.
Shock captivates Paul and Pauline, Rachel sinks against the
counter.
RACHEL
(teary-eyed)
Everything we’ve worked for… all
gone.
130.
PAUL
I did everything I could… but it
wasn’t enough.
PAULINE
(fiercely)
You said you had it under control.
I trusted you.
PAUL
We thought we did.
A heavy silence envelops them, the weight of inescapable
consequence hangs heavily. Bradley watches their anguish,
inspiration igniting in his eyes.
BRADLEY
Let me talk to him. I have some
contacts—maybe there’s another way.
Rachel’s expression hardens, her resolve sinking.
RACHEL
Maybe it’s time to face reality.
We’ve fought hard enough.
PAULINE
No, I’ll talk to Mr. Bain first.
RACHEL
No. I’ll go speak with him.
PAULINE
We’ve tried it your way. Now,
Clement and I will handle this.
RACHEL
(angry)
This is not negotiable.
The air crackles with unresolved tension; memories of past
struggles flicker across Pauline's mind, their faces urging
her onward. The struggle for family loyalty clashing with
survival instincts.
95 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 95
Pauline rushes into the store, a swarm of reporters hot on
her heels. Their questions hit her like a tidal wave, each
one a sharp reminder of her vulnerability amidst glamour.
131.
REPORTER 3 (O.S.)
Ms. Newton! Are you worried about
the press uncovering the truth
about Bradley’s past?
REPORTER 2
Are you using him just to
rehabilitate your public image?
Pauline halts, momentarily stunned. The weight of their
scrutiny presses down on her.
PAULINE
Enough!
Her voice cuts through the clamor, raw frustration bubbling
to the surface. She gestures to the Bodyguards to clear the
reporters, though her heart races with uncertainty. Can she
really handle this?
Pauline takes a moment, inhaling deeply to gather her
thoughts before striding over to Portia and Celeste, who
watch apprehensively from behind the counter.
PAULINE
Sorry I'm late.
(a beat)
I didn't expect... all this.
Portia notices the ring on Pauline's finger.
PORTIA
(eyebrows raised, glancing
at Pauline’s ring)
Where did that ring come from?
Celeste leans in closer, her eyes wide, excitement dancing on
her features.
CELESTE
Wait, you’re serious, right? This
isn’t just a publicity stunt?
Pauline forces a hesitant smile, but her mind races. The ring
feels heavy, a symbol of her struggle for acceptance in a
life rife with expectations.
PAULINE
(half hearted)
No, it’s real... I think.
(beat)
But look at what comes with it.
132.
Portia and Celeste exchange worried glances, their excitement
overshadowed by a protective instinct.
PORTIA
You know this isn't just a big
shiny rock, right? If this plays
out wrong... it could affect
everything, especially with the
media breathing down your neck.
Pauline's smile falters, dawning realization washing over
her. How do I fit into this Hollywood narrative?
PAULINE
All I wanted was happiness. Is that
too much to ask?
The pressure hangs in the air, ominous and thick.
96 INT. BAIN DEVELOPMENTS OFFICE - DAY 96
The tension is palpable. Rachel stands defiantly, eyes red
from frustration, facing Jack Bain. Paul stands resolute
beside her, silent but supportive.
RACHEL
Jack, please. Sell me the land. You
can buy land anywhere. It's my
family's legacy at stake here.
Jack’s expression is icy, yet a flicker of conflict shadow
his features.
JACK BAIN
(cold yet conflicted)
I don’t need money or land. I can't
give up what I hold dear.
Rachel's vulnerability and anger collide, creating a
whirlwind in the room.
RACHEL
(choked up)
We were close, Jack. You know my
heart led me in a different
direction. I’m sorry if that
caused you pain, but this... this
isn’t just about us.
Jack's emotions churn beneath his stern exterior; their
shared history a bittersweet pill.
133.
JACK BAIN
You followed your heart. I can’t
turn away from mine.
Rachel’s breath hitches, emotions spilling over.
RACHEL
This fight? It’s all so petty. Is
all this anger really worth it just
because I didn’t go to the prom
with you?
(suddenly earnest)
Is your bitterness all you want for
the legacy of my family?
Paul interjects, trying to reignite reason.
PAUL
Come on, Jack. Be sensible. How
much money will it take?
Jack's anger flares, unmasking his raw emotions.
JACK BAIN
Paul, I don't want your money. I
want your wife!
Paul rises, fiery determination etched on his face.
PAUL
I'd sooner lose my life than lose
my wife.
Rachel, navigating the tumultuous past and present,
intervenes.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
Rachel, my dearest, there may still
be a chance for us, even now.
Jack reaches out, but Rachel stumbles back into Paul’s arms.
He glares at Jack, while Rachel’s disgust is evident.
RACHEL
Have you lost your mind?!
JACK BAIN
(frustrated)
I’m still not good enough am I?
As the tension thickens, Jack’s icy demeanor becomes
palpable.
134.
MOMENTS LATER
Clement enters through a concealed door, tension bleeding
into the dimly lit office. Jack sits at his desk, a predator
ready to pounce.
JACK BAIN
(coldly)
Where’s the sales data from
Timeless Fashion? You’ve had ample
time to gather it from Pauline.
CLEMENT
(struggling to calm)
I couldn’t get close enough, but—
JACK BAIN
(cutting him off)
Spare me your excuses, Clement. You
owe me your life.
Clement’s fists clench tightly, voice a strained whisper.
CLEMENT
I haven’t forgotten. But Pauline…
she’s different. She doesn’t
deserve this.
Jack leans forward, gaze penetrating, voice laced with
menace.
JACK BAIN
No one’s innocent, Clement. Least
of all that woman you long for. I
made you who you are, and you’ll
throw that away for her?
Clement’s breath catches. His fists clench tighter as he
swallows hard, the desperation clear in his eyes.
CLEMENT
(desperate)
I care about her, Uncle. This… this
isn’t right.
Jack’s expression darkens, his voice dropping to a dangerous
whisper.
JACK BAIN
It’s not about what’s right. It’s
about survival.
135.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
You think she’ll care about you
when her world crumbles? Or forgive
you for not having the guts to do
what’s necessary?
Clement’s gaze drops to the floor, his resolve faltering
under the weight of Jack’s words.
JACK BAIN
(Standing, every step
deliberate)
Remember, boy, I’ve done things for
you no one else would. If you won’t
handle this, I will. And trust me,
you won’t like how I do it.
Jack draws near, each step calculated, his voice a venomous
whisper.
JACK BAIN (CONT'D)
You wouldn’t want anything…
unfortunate to happen to Pauline,
would you?
The air thickens with menace, Clement’s face pales,
nodding, his voice trembling.
CLEMENT
(defeated)
No Sir. I’ll take care of it.
Jack’s lips curl into a satisfied smirk.
JACK BAIN
I knew you’d see reason.
Clement hesitates at the door, a moment of reckoning. He
exhales, shoulders slumping, and exits—the door clicks shut
behind him. Jack remains, his smile lingering in the shadows
like a predator in the darkness.

Confrontations and Choices
97 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 97
The street outside buzzes with paparazzi, snapping photos,
voices blending into a cacophony. Tony strides in
confidently, spotting Pauline, who is sorting garments. He
offers a warm smile.
TONY
Bradley mentioned your engagement.
Congratulations.
136.
PAULINE
(astonished)
Where's Bradley?
As if on cue, Bradley enters, flanked by Bodyguards. He
sweeps Pauline into an embrace, pulling back to gaze intently
into her eyes.
BRADLEY
I can’t bear to be without you.
Come with me.
PAULINE
Love to, but it’s not that simple.
A little notice next time, maybe?
Celeste stands nearby, fidgeting. Tony notices, pulls her
slightly aside.
TONY
Celeste, you seem a bit unnerved.
CELESTE
I can't shake this fear... that
once you leave, it’s truly over.
TONY
(gently)
We’re not defined by distance,
just memories. But I can’t ignore
your fears.
Pauline observes Celeste and Tony's hand-holding, a subtle
smile graces her lips.
BRADLEY
I'll call you from L.A.
Portia enters, eyeing the scene with a sharp glare.
PORTIA
Hold on. You get the ring, but we
share kisses?
Pauline’s frustration spills over.
PAULINE
This charade ends now.
She yanks the engagement ring from her finger, thrusting it
at Bradley.
137.
BRADLEY
Wait, there's been a
misunderstanding. Let’s talk—
PAULINE pulls away, her eyes fierce.
PAULINE
Just leave!
He hesitates but finally takes the ring, exiting with his
entourage. Portia smirks, reveling in the chaos.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Portia, our friendship means too
much for me to ignore this
conflict.
PORTIA
(reluctantly)
Nothing happened. He turned me
down. I didn't mean to come on to
him. It's just, I've always had
this fear of being alone, of not
being enough.
PAULINE
Is that all it is for you? Just
fear of being left behind?
Pauline’s warmth seeps through, offering a moment of
compassionate unity. The tension eases into understanding.
98 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 98
Paul opens the door, revealing Bradley standing on the
threshold.
PAUL
Hi. Come on in.
(calling out)
Pauline, it's Bradley.
BRADLEY
Thank you.
138.
Bradley steps inside. Pauline, distressed, enters with Paul
and Rachel exchanging concerned looks.
PAULINE
Why are you here? Please leave!
PAUL
What’s going on?
BRADLEY
There’s been a misunderstanding
with Portia. I need to clear it up.
Paul looks surprised.
PAUL
Ah, well, take a seat.
Paul gestures to the couch for Bradley. Pauline remains firm.
PAULINE
Dad, I asked him to leave.
PAUL
You can do that in your own house.
Bradley is here for a reason, so
let him speak his mind.
Paul and Rachel exit, leaving Pauline and Bradley alone.
PAULINE
You should have told me before
proposing.
BRADLEY
She made advances on the day you
visited but nothing happened.
Pauline appears conflicted.
PAULINE
What was she doing in your room?
BRADLEY
She tricked her way in. I had no
clue until it was too late. I’m
here to be honest with you. I love
you.
Pauline’s expression softens, though uncertainty remains.
Bradley takes her hand and gently places the engagement ring
on her finger.
139.
BRADLEY
I know the Paparazzi can be brutal
but just be yourself and don’t say
more than you want.
PAULINE
I’ll try.
(a beat.)
You still have to leaves?
Bradley sadly nods yes.
BRADLEY
Ride with me to the airport. I want
to spend every moment with you.
Pauline nods her agreement.
99 INT. BRADLEY’S SUV - DAY 99
Bradley’s SUV pulls up to the small airport terminal, where a
chaotic sea of paparazzi and fans clamor for attention. The
blinding flashes of cameras create a strobe effect, adding to
the chaos. Inside, Pauline sits beside Bradley, visibly
tense.
BRADLEY
This is it, love. The whirlwind of
fame and fortune.
PAULINE
(nervously adjusting her
sunglasses)
My heart’s pounding, Bradley. It’s
all happening so fast.
BRADLEY
(grabbing her hand)
You belong here, Pauline. You're my
star.
Pauline’s hands fidget with her sunglasses. Strands of her
hair fall across her worried face as she struggles to stay
composed.
As Bradley prepares to exit, Pauline’s hand grips his arm,
her fingers trembling. She looks out at the crowd, her
breathing growing shallow.
140.
PAULINE
Bradley, I feel… trapped. The
cameras, the judging eyes… it’s
suffocating. I don’t know if I can
handle this.
BRADLEY
I know it’s overwhelming, but I’m
here. We’re in this together.
You’re extraordinary, and we’ll
face this together.
Pauline’s movements become more erratic. Her eyes dart
nervously to the flashing lights, and tears start to form.
Her distress is palpable.
As Bradley exits, Pauline shakily reaches out toward him but
withdraws abruptly, closing the door with a sense of
finality. She watches through the window as Bradley blows her
a reassuring kiss while Tony guides him through the crowd.
Pauline turns to the driver, her voice barely audible.
PAULINE
Take me back to the store please.
100 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 100
Pauline is rearranging clothes with intense focus. Her
parents, Rachel and Paul, enter. The tension in the air is
thick. Pauline’s distress becomes apparent as she sees them,
and she rushes to her father, burying her face in his chest.
PAULINE
I can’t handle the media, the
pressure—I panicked and ran.
PAUL
What are you talking about?
PAULINE
At the airport, with Bradley. I
just froze.
Rachel approaches, placing a comforting hand on Pauline’s
back.
RACHEL
It’s a lot to adjust to. We’re here
for you.
Pauline wipes her tears and straightens up, trying to regain
her composure.
141.
PAULINE
You don’t visit often. What’s going
on?
RACHEL
We were nearby and wanted to check
in. But… there’s something we need
to talk about.
Pauline takes a deep breath, her determination hardening.
PAULINE
Actually, there’s something I need
to say. I don’t want the store.
It’s not my dream.
Rachel’s eyes widen with a mix of hurt and shock. Her voice
cracks slightly.
RACHEL
What? After everything we’ve put
into this? This store is our
legacy. We’ve sacrificed so much.
PAULINE
I don’t want to be stuck here...
RACHEL
(voice rising, filled with
hurt)
No! You want to run off to
Hollywood with Bradley!
Pauline flinches at Rachel’s outburst, visibly hurt. Her
voice softens, but her resolve is clear.
PAULINE
I don’t want to be stuck here,
especially when its future is so
uncertain. I need to follow my own
path.
Rachel’s face reddens, tears welling up. She turns away,
struggling to hold back her emotions as she storms out. The
tension in the room is palpable. Paul looks at Pauline, his
own feelings of conflict evident. He looks pained but tries
to offer reassurance.
PAULINE
Was Mr. Bain’s meeting a disaster?
Paul hesitates, the weight of his helplessness heavy.
142.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Just tell me the truth—are they
tearing down this building or not?
PAUL
I’m trying to fix this, but it's
not easy.
He gives a strained smile and places a hand on her shoulder.
The touch is both comforting and painfully inadequate.
Pauline’s face reflects her mixed emotions—hope, fear, and
frustration. Paul turns and walks away, leaving Pauline alone
with her turbulent thoughts. She stares at the clothes, her
determination and sorrow mingling as she contemplates her
future.

Confrontation and Consequences
101 INT/EXT. PAUL’S CAR - DAY 101
Paul and Pauline walk to the car. Rachel is already seated in
the front passenger seat, her expression a mixture of
confusion and disappointment. Paul slides into the driver’s
seat, while Pauline enters the back, her resolve heavy in the
air like a storm.
PAULINE
(resolute)
Mom, Dad, I’m sorry for my outburst
earlier. I need you both to
understand—managing the bonefish
lodge isn’t just a job for me. It’s
where I feel most alive. I can’t
explain it, but it’s where I truly
find myself.
Rachel and Paul exchange concerned glances.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
It makes me feel alive in a way
that nothing else does.
Rachel’s eyes soften with a mixture of pride and concern.
Paul’s expression is a complex blend of frustration and
worry.
RACHEL
We see how much it means to you,
sweetheart. And I'm sorry for how I
reacted. I just want you to be
happy.
Rachel reaches back, tentatively touching Pauline's shoulder.
Pauline’s shoulders relax a fraction, but her determination
is unwavering.
143.
PAUL
But we need to talk about your
future. Clement is a solid
choice—steady job, lives close by.
We’re worried about Bradley’s
instability.
PAULINE
Not this again. I’m not going to be
pressured into this.
RACHEL
We only want what’s best for you.
PAULINE
What’s best for me is me making my
own decision.
Pauline’s frustration simmers over as she opens the car door
and steps out, leaving her parents in a cloud of conflict
behind her.
PAUL
Pauline!
But she's already striding away, her anger palpable. A moment
of silence hangs in the air before they exchange worried
looks.
102 INT. TIMELESS FASHIONS - DAY 102
Portia and Celeste return from lunch, immediately noticing
Pauline's grim expression. Their concern is immediate.
As two customers enter, Portia turns to greet them, while
Celeste rushes to Pauline’s side. Suddenly, Grammy Flo
enters, her walking stick tapping rhythmically.
PAULINE
(playfully)
Well, well, look who's here! Hi,
Grammy. Mom and Dad just left.
Pauline forces a smile and pulls Grammy Flo into a warm
embrace.
GRAMMY FLO
I came to see you cause I hear you
courting a celebrity.
PAULINE
Grammy!
144.
Pauline's cellphone rings, she answers.
PAULINE
Hello. Oh hi Clement.
Portia and Celeste lean in, intrigued, but Grammy Flo shooes
them away.
CLEMENT (FILTER)
Want to grab a bite after work?
PAULINE
Maybe another time. I have
inventory tonight.
CLEMENT (FILTER)
How about some takeout? What do you
like?
PAULINE
You decide. See you soon.
Grammy Flo, Portia, and Celeste share curious looks, eyebrows
raised.
GRAMMY FLO
Pauline, how much man you have?
(a beat)
If I still had all my teeth I would
have a man too.
Pauline laughs, noise around her fading. She ushers them
all out of the store, her own smile a feeble shield against
her hidden worries.
SOME TIME LATER
Clement stands at the door, takeout bag in hand, fingers
drumming nervously.
Pauline, glancing from the window at the lurking Paparazzi,
forces a warm smile.
PAULINE
Come on in. I’m starving.
As Clement steps inside, he mirrors her smile, yet something
pulls at the corners of his mouth. He sets the food down,
movements stiff as tension laces the air between them.
They sit down to eat, but Clement’s expression morphs into
strain, the talk of the day seeping into his mind.
145.
His thoughts flare to the flash drive in his pocket, the
weight of betrayal pressing down on him like lead.
PAULINE
Are you sure you’re okay? You
seem... distracted.
For a stuttering moment, he intends never to betray her. He
swallows hard.
CLEMENT
It’s nothing, really. Just...
things on my mind.
Pauline studies him closer, a flicker of concern crossing her
face. She places a gentle hand on his arm, her eyes piercing
through to his heart.
PAULINE
You know I’m here for you, right?
Whatever it is, you don’t have to
carry it alone.
He wants to spill everything, to be honest. But Jack's
threats loom larger than his love for her.
CLEMENT
(slightly distant)
Yeah... I know. It’s just work. You
know how it is.
She nods but her brow furrows, uncertainty creeping in.
PAULINE
If you ever want to talk, I’m here.
Just then, her eyes gloss over with emotion as she leans in,
kissing his cheek lightly. For a moment, his breath hitches,
caught between yearning and betrayal.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
Excuse me for a moment.
With the weight of their untold truths thickening the air,
she disappears to the bathroom. Alone now, Clement's
desperation simmers. He pulls out the sleek flash drive,
hesitating at the threshold of no return.
He looks around, verifying her absence before quickly
inserting the drive into her computer. The screen flickers
ominously, a slow transfer bar inching toward inevitability.
146.
CLEMENT
(whispering)
Come on please!
Sweat beads form on his forehead as he imagines her return, a
clock ticking down toward discovery. Suddenly, the bathroom
door creaks open. In a flurry, Clement yanks the flash drive
out, his heart hammering. He shoves it back into his pocket,
slipping back into calmness, though his heart is racing.
Pauline walks back in, her eyes narrowing slightly, sensing
the unease between them.
PAULINE
(slightly suspicious)
Everything okay?
Clement forces a smile, but it’s a fragile façade.
CLEMENT
Yeah, just... thinking about work
again.
Pauline studies him, a mix of concern and affection flashing
before she sighs, picking up her fork to resume their already
strained meal.
After a long pause, the tension still hanging heavy, she
glances out the window, her expression clouding.
PAULINE
They’re everywhere. I can’t even
breathe without them lurking
around...
CLEMENT
They’re just looking for a story.
As a thought strikes, Pauline grips Clement's hands.
PAULINE
A story, huh? Let’s see how they
like this.
Before she can think, she pulls Clement in and kisses him
abruptly, breath stolen by surprise; it feels both thrilling

Confessions in the Light
103 INT. NEWTON'S LIVING ROOM - DAY 103
The living room is cozy but tense, sunlight filtering
through heavy drapes, casting shadows that mimic the
secrets enclosed within. Pauline sinks into the plush
couch, her expressive face shadowed, hands trembling
as she grapples with her confession.
PAULINE
(voice barely a whisper)
I kissed Clement... in front of a
reporter. I couldn't keep quiet
anymore—those cameras, the constant
eyes...
Paul's brows knit together, shock rippling across his face.
His voice wavers, not with anger, but with the weight of what
this could mean.
PAUL
Why would you do that, Pauline?
You’re engaged to Bradley. Do you
realize what you’ve done?
PAULINE
(sharply)
Do you think I don't know that?
Rachel steps in, concern etching her features, but there’s a
hint of panic in her eyes as she glances at her husband.
148.
RACHEL
A kiss? After everything, what were
you hoping to achieve? The press...
they'll destroy you—and us.
Pauline’s eyes flash with both guilt and determination, but
there’s a tremor in her voice that wasn’t there before.
PAULINE
I wanted them to see me! To
question me for once—like I’m not
just their spectacle.
Paul looks torn, urgency in his voice as he probes deeper. He
leans forward, his voice dropping to a tense whisper.
PAUL
But, are you really attracted to
him? Or is this about something
else?
A silence hangs heavy, Pauline's hesitation answering for
her. Rachel gasps softly, her hands covering her mouth as if
she’s holding back a scream.
RACHEL
Oh dear, my poor child.
PAULINE
(voice uncertain)
Clement... he makes me feel seen,
understood in a way that Bradley
never does. I feel lost, like I'm
living someone else’s life.
The weight of her words settles in the air, and her parents
exchange a worried glance. A phone suddenly BUZZES on the
coffee table, the sound jarring in the tension-filled room.
Paul snatches it up, his face draining of color as he reads
the message.
PAUL
(frantic)
It’s already out—Pauline, the
photo's trending. The Paparazzi is
spinning this into a nightmare.
They're saying you’re... cheating.
That you're unfit to run your
business. They’ve got reporters
coming to the house. Now!
Pauline’s heart pounds in her chest, her breathing quickens.
She starts to rise, but Rachel grabs her arm, panic flashing
across her face.
149.
Pauline's eyes dart around the room, her mind racing. The
walls feel like they’re closing in, suffocating her.
PAULINE
I’ve messed up. Bradley's going to
be furious when he sees that photo.
I need... I need to think. This
chaos in my head, it’s suffocating.
Paul rushes to the window, peeking through the heavy drapes.
Outside, a car pulls up—reporters are already on the move,
cameras flashing as they gather near the front steps.
Tears brim in Pauline’s eyes as she meets her mother’s gaze,
raw and vulnerable.
PAULINE
I feel like I’m drowning. I never
meant for any of this to happen.
Rachel opens her arms, and Pauline hesitates before
succumbing to the embrace.
RACHEL
Whatever you decide, we’ll figure
this out together.
Paul joins in, forming a protective circle around her, and
for the first time, Pauline allows herself to feel the warmth
of their love, despite the storm brewing outside.

Her admission hangs heavy, the waves lapping against the dock
in a rhythmic turmoil, reflecting her inner storm. The last

crouches behind a weathered wooden stall, peering as a
vehicle rumbles up the sandy path. Her heart races as Jack
Bain steps out, followed by Clement Rolle, who emerges to
greet him.
Jack hands Clement a sealed envelope, which Clement tears

CLEMENT

Jack nods curtly before leaving. As the dust settles,
Clement's smile fades, replaced by unease.

PAULINE
Why did Jack pay you ten thousand

Clement’s confidence crumbles. He grips the envelope, his

Her parents exchange worried glances, eyes heavy with

RACHEL

Pauline stirs, lifting her blindfold as reality settles over
her like a tempest. Her gaze locks onto Bradley's, and a rush

PAULINE

BRADLEY

Pauline leans back, her relief mixed with dread.
BRADLEY

RACHEL
Jack, you need to leave. The court
order takes effect at 9 a.m.

PAULINE
No. Let him stay!
GRAMMY FLO
What court order?
RACHEL
Part of this building encroaches on
Jack’s land. He’s legally entitled
to demolish it.
GRAMMY FLO
(in disbelief)
Demolish? Not a chance!
Clutching her walking stick, Grammy Flo marches toward Jack.
GRAMMY FLO (CONT'D)
Over my dead body! My husband built
this place with he own two hand.
JACK BAIN
Aunty, let me explain-
GRAMMY FLO
Don't you "aunty" me, boy. Not now!
Pauline steps forward, a nagging curiosity igniting within
her.
PAULINE
Grammy, why’s he calling you aunty?
159.
GRAMMY FLO
His grammy Liza Smith was my first
cousin. She was the Island
Administrator’s sweetheart, but he
never signed for Jack. My neighbor
Pearl Bain and her husband adopted
him since they couldn’t have kids.
An electric realization dawns on Pauline.
PAULINE
So Jack is actually related to us?
GRAMMY FLO
If you want to claim him. But he’s
not legally a Bain, he is a Smiths.
PAULINE
(astounded)
The disputed land belonged to all
of us then?
Paul and Rachel exchange shocked glances, grappling with the
revelation.
GRAMMY FLO
Yes. I helped bring Jack into this
world and had his name registered.
Pearl first saw him while visiting
a fertility clinic in Nassau. Liza
gave him up for adoption. Pearl was
away for months and when she came
back with Jack, everybody thought
she had given birth to him.
PAUL
(revealing)
Generation property Inheritance is
determined by blood only, not
adoption!
PAULINE
This stinks of forgery. I’m calling
Officer Mackey.
Jack’s face pales as Pauline pulls out her cellphone.
JACK BAIN
I’ll drop the claim. Let’s keep the
police out of this family matter.
Pauline smiles shyly and puts her cellphone away. Jack’s
relief is palpable, Grammy Flo’s expression is fierce.
160.
GRAMMY FLO
Let him go to jail Pauline. He too
crooked! Trying to thief our land!
Just then, Officer Roy Mackey and another officer burst in,
hands hovering near their holstered guns, eyes fixed on Jack.
OFFICER ROY MACKEY
Jack Bain, hands up. You’re under
arrest for fraud.
Jack’s bravado slips as fear seeps into his eyes. He slowly
raises his hands, desperately trying to maintain composure.
JACK BAIN

You’re making a big mistake.
Clearly you I don’t know who I am!
As officers cuff him, Jack’s gaze roams over the shocked
faces of customers. The weight of his public disgrace and
loss of control starts to settle in, his bravado crumbling.

silent...This is a matter that

Bradley, unstrapping himself, strides to the cockpit. His
face shows disbelief as he catches sight of Pauline,
defiant and desperate on the tarmac. A gust of wind sweeps
through the cabin as the Flight Attendant swings open the
door.
Tony, ever the optimist, claps Bradley on the back,

123 EXT. AIRPORT TARMAC - DAY 123
The blaring of sirens slices through the air as police cars
and emergency vehicles tear onto the tarmac, their lights
spinning wildly. The pungent smell of jet fuel mixes with
the chaos. Bradley stands frozen, eyes locked on Pauline,
his heart racing.
Bradley’s expression shifts from shock to something deeper as
he senses the magnitude of her act—her shockwaves impact him
like a punch to the gut.
BRADLEY
(shouting over the noise)
Pauline, what are you thinking?
Tears flow down Pauline’s cheeks, yet she stands firm, her
passport raised like a banner of defiance. Paul and Rachel
exchange a glance—pride grappling with fear. The weight of
their daughter's boldness tugs at their hearts.
Bradley’s gaze softens, the clamor of the tarmac fades,
leaving only the electric tension between them.

Stepping forward, she lets her words tumble out, raw and
unfiltered.
PAULINE (CONT'D)
(emotional, fearless)
I’m coming with you, to Hollywood.

At that moment, Officer ROY MACKEY watches the scene unfold,
his hand twitching near his radio. A glimmer of conflict
dances in his eyes. Family ties tangle with protocol. He
takes a deep breath, seeking resolve. “This is bigger than
rules,” he thinks. Exiting his vehicle, a knowing smile
graces his lips.
He raises a firm hand, holding back security staff, nudging
them aside. The cousin who had rooted for this moment now
clears the path for a love that demands its stage. Bradley’s
eyes widen, gratitude flickering at Roy’s silent
endorsement.
The tension coils tighter as the cacophony swells.
Uncertainty clouds Bradley’s face—he wrestles internally
with the implications of stepping away from his life for this
moment. His mind races back to Pauline’s determination, her
fierce voice echoing in his heart.
BRADLEY
I’d rather stay here with you, in
Paradise.
They step closer, arms hovering, testing the waters of a
new reality. In an instant, doubt flickers and then
subsides—overwhelmed, they pull each other close. The
intensity of their connection drowns out the chaos, leaving
just the two of them.
As they hold tightly, the world around them fades, shadows
of uncertainty replaced by the warmth of their shared moment
